22 steps on how to add a Wealthy Affiliate banner to a post or page on your website.
I learned this from viewing and pausing Marion Black's excellent training video 10 times before I understood how to add a WA banner to my post or page. Yes, I know. I am a slow learner.
I wrote each step down while pausing and replaying the video over and over again.
I finally learned how to do it thanks to Marion.
Training videos are excellent ways to teach something. However sometimes you need to slow the video down and pause it to understand the teaching.
I wrote this for my own personal benefit but then I thought others may like to have this list. In case the video goes too fast and you don't want to have to pause and write each step down like I did.
Here are the steps I wrote down on how to add WA banner to your website:
1. Go to $ on top of dashboard and click on $.
2. find 22 banners lower left and click on banners. (each banner has your unique WA affiliate code embedded in it. This is how you get paid your referral commission when someone joins when they click on your banner to join WA.
3. Select banner you want and click on download and save to your computer.
4. Go back up to box that says Details and click on details
5. there you will see your unique Affiliate link at top of page.
6. Hi-lite and copy your unique affiliate link. This will save it to your clipboard. Do not click the copy button- you must hi-lite and copy your affiliate link. (You must do this to make your banner clickable - See step 16 below.)
7. login to your website where you want to put the WA banner you just saved to your computer
8. find post or page where you want to put the WA banner and click on edit.
9. Scroll to place on post or page where youwant to insert WA banner.
10. Open a space in your text where you want to put the WA banner.
11. Click on Add Media button (top of post or page that you are editing)
12. You will be asked to select file from your download at your computer or from media library. Choose upload from computer.
13. Go to your computer and find the banner that you downloaded and saved there.
14. Click on it. And when it comes up open it.
15. A page will then appear where you can find a Custom Html Box.
16. Paste in the Custom Html box your unique affiliate link that you had hi-lighted and copied to your clipboard in step 6 above. (You must paste your unique WA affiliate code into the Custom html box or your banner will not be clickable.)
17. Select full size
18. Click at bottom right where it says Insert into post.
19. Click on update! Do not forget to click on update. This will apply all edit changes and additions you have made to this post including your insert of your WA banner.
20. Visit your website and post or page to see if your banner is clickable. Should be a little hand hovering over Banner. If no litle hand, repeat steps above til you get it right.
21. Click on banner to see if it takes you to WA sign up page.
22. You can move banner to left, center or right after you have inserted it into your post or page. click on banner and see options at top of banner. You must be in edit post or page to do this.

I wrote technical manuals for aircraft mechanics at Florida Express Airlines several years ago.
Complete instructions in great detail were necessary for mechanics to repair an airplane so it would be safe to carry passengers.

Thanks Loes. I went to training and put this training there but it said I had to have at least 4 pages before publishing. How do I separate this into 4 pages? Could not figure out how to do this. at the tutorial.

These steps are very valuable Derry especially for those who are new to banners and such. I have been struggling with these, but not from WA, from other affiliate programs.
It was discouraging. At WA I figured it out on my own but used a different method. I will have to write it out as you did and share it.
