The Simplicity Of SEO At Wealthy Affiliate
A very magical reminder of how simple SEO really is.
In fact..Keywords (my opinion) once your site established are not all that important. Topic relevance is.
I learned something a little bit risky (to some) from @@Rich on WA..To leave the SEO title blank and the meta description also.
But do have the keyword in the first 160 characters.
I do believe Boomer and some others do this - how's your CTR (before and after?)
It Gives more control to google to pull a meta description from the content. Of which, it usually bolds the search term keywords Thus better CTR.
The bold search terms typed in by the user attract the eye more and get the click. My theory behind it anyway.
I tried it out...on all my content! CTR went up from regular 5% to 6ish and sometimes 7% and that is over a prolonged period of 10months...
And despite a swift kick in the nuts from the latest broad core update..I have a CTR bordering 8% sits at a regular 7.5-7.8%.
some days..over 8%..No fancy wancy formula, no secret sauce..in fact nothing at all not even a meta title or meta description!... And what is taught at WA in terms of Search Engine Optimisation.
Ave position over thousands keywords..18.7!. CTR bordering 8%
...And I don't know sh*t about SEO!.
...I have watched a video of Experts like Neil Patel on youtube saying 5% is pretty good usually 4%ish is normal..
It just goes to show you what you can learn here at Wealthy Affiliate and other members (thanks @@Rich! and Boomer!) in regards to search engine optimization.

Indeed. Point in mute is..no need to look externally for top SEO advise that really works - we got it all here in the community. Very powerful CSI (crowd sourced intelligence) in regards to SEO, blogging and niche site marketing.
