Global Warming
There is a lot of controversy around the concept of Global Warming. Is it junk science or not? Is there a benefit to the so called leaders of the movement, flying their private jets all over the world to discuss the effects of the use of fossil fuels? Are weather patterns changing or is it just cyclical? Is a carbon tax going to remedy the problem or is it just another revenue producer for the elite few?
As with most everything, I prefer a more local and individual approach than a country wide or worldwide “solution”. I prefer positive action over celebrity hype. I prefer concepts like sustainability and rejuvenation. For this reason, I am working on a website that will chronicle and champion the efforts of corporations that utilize “green” initiatives, as well as other less publicized conservation practices. These are methods and plans that wisely use resources and renew those that have been depleted or misused over the years.
If you know of a company or individual that is deserving of recognition in this regard, please comment below.
Thanks,
Dennis

Excellent work, I will keep an eye open for worthy endeavors regarding global warming and clean up. I love Loes below.
I was going to do a website on that particular niche also. I'm glad to see more interest in that area. Awesome! Donna
Dennis,
I changed my niche since I had that notion lol! So my best to you! Glad to see the interest is there. Have fun! Donna
I know a Dutch boy, 20-year-old Boyan Slat, who took it upon him to find a solution for the plastic soup in the oceans
Here is the Youtube about this

Dennis, it sounds like a very worthwhile niche. I wish you all the best. Climate change is something I have been researching for the last several years. We can certainly all do our best to contribute to helping our planet. However, what I have found is that there are a whole lot of other factors out there impacting the climate on earth. Humans may be a contributor but we may be naive to think we are that influential.
All the best,
Wayne
WaynePro, I love your response to this post.
You are correct with that notion. 100 percent. It's a mixture of a lot of issues we have no control over and then some issues that we do, in my opinion. But then again, who am I to say? Donna
Thanks, Donna. You know I tried to have this kind of dialogue with my son and my oldest grandchild. They shot me down almost immediately because they assumed I was a climate change denier! Oh, well.
Appreciate your comments.

Wayne, I was just telling my daughters the other day that I've been saying it for years that the winter months have changedi. We also don't seem to have any real winters anymore like I remember as a kid in the New England state of Connecticut, USA. I live in Pennsylvania now but the climate has changed in my opinion.
Put it this way, a week or two ago it was 65 degrees plus one day, and the next day it snowed 8 inches or more. It's Feb. and it's going to be 70 degrees today and I heard snow soon! CRAZY! Donna

A very timely post; It's amazing how stupid we behave at times, sometimes the problems are complex, on my little Island where the sun shines almost every day there are few solar water heaters but we have electric water heaters; if you fly over Barbados there are very noticeable on the roof tops; In a recent conversation with a visitor from California I was told that underground cisterns are outlawed but every house on our Island must have a cistern to collect water from the roof; there seem to be a debate about depleting the water table.Check out Saudi Arabia and there new stance on the future of oil. Thanks for sharing.
