Blessings
Today I was reading from Craig Hill’s book, Living on the Third River, where he talks about how we look at the blessings we have been given.
I live alongside a river that is fed by a huge snow mass high in the mountains.As the fresh, clean water comes flowing past me I may;
See this as a resource I need to store and preserve.Since I see this as a limited supply I build a dam and completely shut off flow to my neighbors downstream.
I may see this as a windfall and build swimming pools, water gardens and increase my herds and croplands for myself.
Or I may see it as a blessing to share.I have more than enough water for my needs so I set about digging canals and ditches for my neighbors who live away from the river.As I am blessed I bless my neighbors.
Right after I finished reading this I saw Kyle’s post about a mountain stream and how the same principle works within Wealthy Affiliate.I am so grateful for Kyle and Carson’s foresight and their commitment to paying it forward. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle/blog/website-traffic-is-like-a-mountain-stream-and-river
