The Hardest Post I Have Ever Written
I am sitting here writing this post on Saturday evening. I have just finished the hardest post I have ever written for my website.
Yesterday, Friday, I knew that I had to be somewhere in the morning with my daughter. When we got to our appointment we found out some equipment was not working correctly. So we waited around and they finally called us and told us that they had to order something and would not be able to get us in yesterday. So we went home.
We got home and it was probably around 11:00 in the morning. I went to my computer and got on WA. I knew I had a post for my website I needed to write. I have been trying to find some balance, which I wrote about in a recent post, and decided that Monday, Wednesday, Friday would be the days I would write posts for my website.
Well, I remembered that someone had brought to my attention that when they tried to click to one of my pages on my website that they got a 404 error and the page could not be found. I also found I had another page with the same error
So I decided I better get this fixed. I went to the search button at the top to find help. Of course there was plenty of help, but none of them seemed to be what I was looking for. So I asked the question of the community, and like always they were there to help me. I have not fixed the problem yet, but I have plenty of suggestions. I am hoping I will be able to fix it, since I made a boo-boo and while on my webmaster clicked that I had fixed them. Oh, no what have I done!
Anyway, I spent most of the day from the time I got home trying to figure that out. I finally had enough and decided to just wait until another day. Too much frustration was setting in. But my post was still not done! Well, that was going to have to wait until tomorrow. So after a good dinner and some good night's sleep I was up and ready to tackle my post.
Little did I know just how hard this post would be! It took me the entire day to write, and I just finished it a few minutes before I started writing this post. It was a post I felt needed to be written! So now it is done and I am tired and ready for bed.
I guess the 404 stuff will just have to wait until tomorrow or maybe Monday. But I will get it done! I don't want people clicking on links and not able to get to these posts!

Quality posts can take so much effort to write.
But I also think easier times and more flow will happen for us, the access is not always the same......☺
Keep us posted Denise on your progress. Usually if it's just a 404 error, you can easily fix it with a 301 redirect. Have you been given an answer on how to do this?

Keep going Denise, things happen sometimes where we become frustrated and ready to throw the towel in! As Rick suggested, it is sometimes better to walk away and do something else completely different and then come back with a fresh view and new answers to your problem! Regards, Lisa
Thank you! I had to finally walk away on Friday. Too frustrated to continue. Yesterday, I had to keep walking away because I just didn't know where to go next. I think since this was my husband's story it made it more difficult to write for some reason.
I haven't had that particular issue, Denise, but I've had plenty of other technical problems. Keep asking, and somebody will have the answer. If it gets too frustrating, you have the right idea-go do something else for a while. Good luck with getting it fixed!-Rick

Great post Denise it shows the determination we all need to have to keep pushing forward in the tough times. If you need help on the 404 thing holler and we will get it fixed up.
