Enthusiasm Caused My Scatterbrain!
Still Training
I was working through my training and had reached the lesson on adding intent to your blog. Go off and do a new blog the training said, adding what you have learned from this lesson.
Off I rushed ..
Low Hanging Fruit Starting Point
I am in love with Jaaxy and the low hanging fruit concept. I have a section on my site dealing with insurance in my particular niche. I diligently typed in my keyword phrase and got this result back:- 63 803 monthly searches with very low QSR.
Blog Time
Quick, eat my dust, off to my Wordpress, do my research and write what I feel is probably my best blog to date. Now I remember my lesson and go to add intent, or a call to action.
What - My Brain Is Scattered
Now the penny drops, what call to action am I going to add? You see fellow WA readers, I had not looked for an affiliate partnership within the insurance market for my niche. What the heck, I really do not want to publish my blog, especially with such a great key word, without some call to action.
Back To The Drawing Board
So I hop online, do my research and find that the number of affiliate programs in this niche are somewhat limited. Eventually I find two that could work, and I have applied to them.
But it is Easter and the waiting time to hear back from both programs is over 2 working days, so I wait.
Become a Tortoise
I have now put the blog into save mode, and at least know it is ready to roll out as soon as I can add my call to action.
Moving forward I am currently working on a daily plan/checklist to work through for each step of my business. I know this will be an evergreen action plan, changing over time, but for me it is a starting point.
So it is time to become a tortoise and not take off on a mad dash.
Thanks for reading and do leave a comment, see I am at least learning the call to action part.
Denise.

Patience has not always been easy for me - but something I continually work on.
Hope you hear soon about your ‘call to action’ options.
I’m developing a check list too as I find it’s so easy to forget things these days. There are times I feel I’m on information overload! LOL
Yip information overload, my mind is spinning around WA constantly. I also find a checklist keeps me focused and I spend my time more productively.
Classic Denise, all dressed up and no place to go, I wouldn't panic too much you may find those two programs pay a rewarding commission.
From the looks it may be a real opportunity.
Best wishes.
Thanks Alex, actually insurance seems to be a good affiliate opportunity. Thanks for the comment.

You are not alone! I feel same way when join ShareASale, was very excited till received email - not approved. Didn't know why I wasn't approve, so I had to take extra class how to fill out application in right way. Good luck for both of us, haha.
Nothing wrong with being eager hey, but it is still a big learning curve. I hope they approve you.
