I saved a blog post repeatedly, saved it again, and published it. When I went in to find it, it was gone. Do you know what could have happened? I was no where near the "dele

Are you referring to a WA Post or your Blog?

I think I hit the "cancel" button. I thought it was saving? I am not sure. To be absolutely sure, I save it 2-3 times now. I also realized if I bounce out of the page before it saves the next minute, it erases my changes. Live and learn. I have to be more careful. :) Thank you for responding.

Oh, by the way, I got ranked on Google; got the message tonight. Yeah!!!! :)

I didn't have an answer for you but hope to catch up to see what the answer was. These bumps in the road will happen, stay Positive, Request help as you did and go forward.

Right-e-O, as Felix the cat used to say. I am new and not at all a techy person, but I'm working on it Ed. So much to learn, and it's completely different than the medical field where everything was straight forward. :) Thanks Ed!

I picked up a book called Blogging all - in-one for Dummies which I find helpful defines a lot of the proceess and is very helpful with all the terms. It is 739 pages long. It was $35 at Barns & Noble. I just noted on the back is available in e-book. The other thing I do is Google terms while online that is a quick lookup. This field is loaded with terms that have been created and occasionally you'll find one that is used by the field with 2 definitions. I believe that can happen because just like the electronics field the day after something new is released it is obsolete. Everything is going too fast for all the documentation to keep up with it. But chin up and keep positive and going forward.

I am going to see about that Ed. It sounds like a good idea. I know Fran was wondering about site management, etc. I am positive there is a lot of information to be gathered. I am excited Ed: I got ranked by Google and got the message tonight. I am thrilled. :)

Congrats & keep with it.

I do not know what could have happened. Did you check to see if it is in your drafts? Also, you may be able to have tech support locate it for you if they go back to when you published it

I wrote support and asked. It's weird.

Just a quick reminder to back up your site once a week :-)

I do not know what to say; How??? I know, you're probably laughing. Hang in there with me; the guys at work did all this stuff for us, and I never got into the tech world until recently. Let me know. Thanks. :)

lol...no problem :-)

Go to tools from your dashboard and then export and download the files to where you know where they are :-)

Thanks; I told you you'de laugh! Oh well, gotta admit it to someone. :) I'll check the tools.

lol...I too had to ask the same question at one point

I just sent a message. The new one is there; I did another one right after that, but have to wait a while to publish it. I want to make sure I never do it again. It is puzzling because it was published.

I have had various problems myself as I learn the platform. They are very helpful.

I decided to slow down. I had to refer back to the videos several times, despite my notes. Sometimes twice does the trick. :)
