Hi - is anyone able to help me with the Vogue theme? I'm trying to remove the Skype, LinkedIn + more and Location icons from the top left corner, telephone icon from the top ri

Hi Demi,
I just loaded the Vogue theme on a test site, I think it's a beautiful one. Are you still using it and if so do you still like it?
Anne

Go to appearance >customize > header options > remove top bar
Then go to footer layout options > hide social links
The theme also has a tutorial about how to configure the slider
https://kairaweb.com/support/topic/setting-up-the-default-slider/

Help...............Loes, Rick, PJ, GeekHibrid, Jude any help for Dominika?

It looks like it worked Steve!

I guess you would have to make a child theme because all changes will vanish when you update the theme next time. Have not done this, but Marion has training about it. You can change the theme as well.

Hi! I am based in the UK and just wondering whether I should populate my website with UK-specific content and affiliate links within my niche?

Quick question as I'm still confused about something which I think is crucial...Since I'm based in the UK and therefore reviewing/ using products available here, I'm targeting UK audience and further down the line I'll be including links to UK products but I'm still unsure whether I'm doing it right. E.g. I found a good keyword with about 70 monthly searches. If all of these searches are happening outside of the UK, surely those people won't be able to buy any of the products I refer them to and therefore my website won't be successful?

Hi..

no it doesn't have to be country specific especially if you are an affiliate marketer. I have an online toy store (onlinetoys.toys) and I advertise it all over the planet. I don't have to ship anything; i just collect the commissions etc. So, as far as I know, the niche doesn't have to be country specific unless you want it to be.

I'm just wondering what it would be like with prices....some prices in $ and some in £ ? Also, if a UK visitor likes a product, clicks on it and it takes them to, say, Amazon US and they are unable to buy the product - wouldn't that be a bad user experience for them?

I think expanding to other countries, would be great to really reap the benefits but nothing is wrong with just doing the UK so you get used to it and then when the time is right you can expand. Will you be using paypal at all with your business? They offer international transactions, which is pretty neat!

Hi Demi, you can go which way you like!

I give you myself as an example: I am officially based in the Netherlands, I am currently located in South America, my website is in English and directed towards the US and Canada (and all other English-speaking territories).

Hope this helps!

All the best,
Audrey
