Is it mandatory for a domain name to be identical with the website name?

Prior to singing up with WA, I was with a similar company. I discontinued my member ship. Can I use the domain i set up with the other company

You've already been given great insights. Yes, keeping both names close will not leave room for confusion.

Thank you for your answer. Basically I just added two words for the website name in addition to the domain name.

No. Just make it as close to what your site is about as possible. When people search in google, they are given a link to any pages on your site with relevant content, the domain name isn't part of the criteria for that search.

I think it looks better in the search results. But I am sure it isn't a requirement. But, keep them close. I have a 4you.com at the end of my domain, but the site name is "For You"

Thank you for your insight. Yes, in your case it's very similar, in mine, I just added two extra words.
