Yay! I just found out that my latest post is on Page1 Position 1 in Google.

I have been looking for ways on how to get my post straight to Page 1 Position 1 and now I got the whole picture. I simply simplified my keyword search. My topic is about How Drama boosted my son's social skills. Instead of using the keyword Drama alone which is a general word and have a lot of SEO compettion, I added the word Shakespearean to make it long-tail so my keywords are Shakespearean Drama.

I then created a Meta Description with my focus keywords located at the start of the first paragrah of my blog. Have an H2 Heading with my focus keywords in it.

Put two images with my focus keywords in it and lastly add meta tags with Shakesperean Drama as one of my tags. Tags are also useful for Page ranking especially if your keywords are competitive. Google also consider this as a SEO factor.

Besides All in 1 SEO, I also used Yoast SEO because they have a color indication to indicate how well you are doing with your content or post. They utilise the colors of a Stoplight which are the following:

Green- means you are doing well.

Amber- means you are doing ok.

Red- means needs improvement.

I have 2 Amber and the rest are all Green which says the following:

Good SEO scoreThe keyword density is 1.2%, which is great; the focus keyword was found 10 times.
Good SEO scoreThe meta description contains the focus keyword.

Good SEO scoreThe focus keyword appears in 2 (out of 7) subheadings in the copy. While not a major ranking factor, this is beneficial.
Good SEO scoreThe text contains 806 words. This is more than or equal to the recommended minimum of 300 words.
Good SEO scoreThe focus keyword appears in the URL for this page.
Good SEO scoreYou've never used this focus keyword before, very good.

Yoast has helped me to understand a lot more about SEO and have helped me to write better. So, if you need a bit of guidance that will help you in creating better content as well as help you get rank in Google, try using it!
