Site Comment Fixed. Thank you Kyle and Site Support Team.

Finally, my site comment has been fixed. I want to thank Kyle and his Site Support Team for their timely response. I was getting frustrated last week because comments from people whom I know outside WA couldn't comment on my site.



They told me that they could not send their comments and that something is blocking it. I tried to fix it by going to my Dashboard to check if I have checked my allow comment's box on the post hat they wanted to comment on. It has a check mark, and so the next thing that I did was to go to my Discussion Setting board to see my Default article settings. I also have a check mark on the statement that says allow people to post comments on new articles. Both settings were checked, and there were no issues with it.

The next thing that I did was to ask for help by contacting the community and Kyle and his Site Support Team. I got an immediate response, and my problem was finally solved.

What they did is to deactivate all my plugins and send me a test comment on one of my posts. I was able to receive their comment. They ask me to reply in return to test if they could receive my reply, and they did as well.

The next thing that they ask me to do is to deactivate my plugins one by one and ask if I could send a comment on a different e-mail address to see what particular plug-in that's preventing me from receiving comments. I did what they told me to do and was able to solve the problem. The culprit was my anti-spam or spam shield plugin.

Remember the update that Kyle and Carson recently told us about Site Protect? You don't need to install an anti-spam plugin in your website. The Site Protect is enough to protect your site from spams or hackers who want to enter your site.

So if you recently installed an anti-spam plugin like WP Spamshield or Askimet, please uninstall it because it might not be compatible with the Site Protect that Kyle and Carson have installed to protect your website.
