I'm really concerned about this. I go to log in to the WP area to build out my new website called bcryptosafe.com and I get a warning message saying I'm going to a potentially

Carson has you covered, and I hope it was resolved :)

Hi Brian,

This happens from time to time when new sites are built. The Google algorithms that flag websites as "dangerous" are very sensitive and there are a lot of false positives, and that is why they are VERY quick to remove the warning.

We can submit a removal request for you if you reach out to SiteSupport and that warning will go away quickly once the request for removal has been made.

Your site is just a shell as you mentioned, and there is nothing to warrant it to be flagged. It's a mistake by Google and the warning will be removed promptly.

Carson

Thank you Carson! That's a big relief! I will reach out to site support!

You're most welcome Brian - let me know if the issue persists, but it's usually fast to have the warning removed when it's a false positive.

Hi There,

My name is Tom. I have noticed that many of the emails that are directed to my Spam Folder have an email address that contains random characters.

Your devise is probably doing the same thing. You may want to consider changing your site's name to something that is more grammatically correct like, www.fredsmith.com.

There are many bad actors out there and most computer and popular phone software is designed to segregate spam from credible emails.

I sincerely hope this information helps you, My Friend!

Tom

Can't change domain name to becryptosafe.com as that was already taken and had to settle for the letter b instead. Carson said it actually has to do with my website just being a shell right now and once I start building it out, that warning message will go away

Carson may be right, but if you don't consider the spelling of your site's domain name, you will most likely encounter problems in the future.

Just because you are here at Wealthy Affiliate doesn't mean that everything that you are told is accurate.

Research and logic are the most important things that you should incorporate into your site.

Hackers generally use confusing domain names and your current domain name looks like something a hacker would use.

I am not trying to usurp Carson or WA, but I would put your domain into my Spam folder and then block it.

God Bless and Good Luck!

Tom

The thing is though, once Google recognizes my website is legitimate when it's built out with regular, quality content, that will go away. You might put it in your spam folder, but once it's seen as a trusted site, others may not. Also, you cannot change a domain name once it's set.

My official website name is Be Crypto Safe, but as I said previously, I could not register it as becryptosafe.com because it is already taken so I had to do the alternative. There are numerous sites out there that had to settle for alternatives instead of proper spelling that worked out just fine.

Domain names with the word crypto in it are VERY popular and it was extremely tough to find a domain name with crypto in it that would fit for what I plan on doing with my website and this is as close as I was going to get to it because so many of them are already registered.

Trust me, I have very big plans for this website that are not just going to be on the search engines and email marketing. I'm going to be making major videos with links to my site through YouTube and they are very strict on making sure those links to other websites are legitimate, plust it's going to be tied into my other website which is well established and trusted.

Hi - many people have reported the same with new sites.

Site Support can resolve this for you.

Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

I've recently found quite a few content ideas from different articles online thanks to setting up Google Alerts and I was wondering about citing or putting an entire article in

Please do not copy someone else's article. Write your own complete original article and make reference to it with an external link.

No.you will be penalized by Google in a big way.

No, absolutely not. A sentence, perhaps two, but not an entire article. If you like the info that much, write an article using it, but never copy an entire article, even if you cite it.

you can reference the other article but not have a copy of it on your site
so you could talk about what they talked about so
'xx says yyy, but i think that ......'
and include a link back to it...
but definitely not copy the article onto your site.
it needs to be unique content
phil

I would put the link to the article you like to add.

Hey Brian,

Perhaps the following tutorial will provide you with the help you seek: Hope this helps you.

Thank you! It wasn't the homepage link I was trying to create (which is what I ended up doing originally anyway) I was actually wanting to create a sign-up form link, which I didn't originally see when I was trying to create it in the first place. I figured out there when I was getting help from site support. I should've looked harder, lol! Thank you though! :)

Hi Brian, just doing a check up. How are you making out. I see you have received several comments 10 to 5 hours ago.

Hoping everything is working out great for you.

Best wishes,
Michael

Thanks for checking up, really appreciate! I got my issue solved! I realized I was creating the wrong type of campaign and did the correct one. All is fine now! :)

Good Morning Brian,

I could not see a new post I had published and I was told to use
CTRL plus F5 and it suddenly appeared, give it a try.

Greetings from the south of Spain,

Taetske

hey hi Brian .... WA had a bit of a server issue earlier today ... it affected sites .... if it continues ... suggest, perhaps, a consultation with Site Support ...

all the best ... :)

Yeah, it's still continuing. I will probably put in a ticket. Thank you! :)

... you're most welcome & glad to be of help ... and hope it all works out well for you ... cheerio ... :)

A few days ago I gave a comment in Site Comments to someone's post on their website and it got disapproved. When I went to read the reason why it was disapproved, I started get

It would appear that it is a technical issue. It might be worth raising the issue with Site Support.

BEWARE! I have been band from leaving any more comments because three people refused my comments. That is messed up.

I have also repeatedly tried to address this with Kyle, and he never responded to any of my messages. I do not know where else to address this issue.

When you are using the SiteComments platform, your goal is to add to the dialogue of the content and to be highly relevant to the content within the post.

If the post is about "how to lose weight fast online", then your comment should be about this exact topic. Ask a question, offer insight into your experiences within the topic, etc. You ARE NOT critiquing a website, you are not commenting on how you like the layout and you are do not want to comment things like "Great post" as it offers no value.

Here is some training on how the SiteComments platform works: You should watch this before you make another comment as it will offer you a good deal of perspective here. You were offering SiteFeedback in your comments. You are not there to offer feedback on anything other than the subject matter, you are not there to critique about site design, how the content is laid out, etc. That is the SiteFeedback platform, so just don't confuse the two.

PS. I have reset your threshold for you. Just be very careful moving forward.

Kyle, should I submit my issue to Site Support? It just happened to me again and I've got screenshots to prove it. While I was able to edit my comment after posting and while in pending status, it was diffcult for it to be corrected so that it wouldn't be disapproved.

Thank you Kyle, I understand more of what you are saying now that I am on the other side.

But to permanently band forever for making a newbie mistake was a bit much to take.

Thank you again for the second chance.

Cindy

I recently became a certified commenter, but still have not been receiving cash credits. I know there have been others experiencing the same thing. I recently read that one did

Hey there! I'm back again at comment 59 It showed:
"Earn $0.05".
I commented and it said "Pending Uniqueness Verification" and then after a few minutes, at the top, it showed:
"Total Earnings: $0,05"
The next comment said :
"Earn 1 Credit" and the one after that said:
"Earn $0.05".
So it appears to be every second comment can offer a monetary reward.
I just kept commenting until it started working. Hope it starts working for you too!

Yep, it has started working for me too. I guess it just takes some time for the system to kick in.

Sweet!

Yep, hit 58 and nothing. I will keep going and get back to you if anything changes.

I have not started yet. but thanks for the heads up.
Sandy

I thought I read something about the wait for 30 days
Have a great day
Tommy

I am not able to answer that because I can't I just started using the Site Comments so I am not exactly sure how it works.

Mary

I'm not quite in that posistion yet, so unable to comment sorry

Great question. I still have to check out SiteComments but its good to have the info beforehand. Thanks!.

I heard you have to wait 30 days...
