Time to go back to the basics
It has been a long while since I've blogged anything, but I figured it Is time to do so now. I've gone through what I'm sure a lot of people here have gone through at some point. I had lost interest and took a long hiatus from my website.
I just lost the drive to work on and update my website regularly, couple that with distractions from my job and other things going on and also frustrated with the fact that I haven't made a penny yet since I've been with Wealthy Affiliate for over a year and a half. The only thing that kept me from quitting WA outright is that I hate the financial situation that I'm in and I'm not happy with the changes at my job one of which means a longer commute for me.
I've decided to start fresh. Go back to the basics and start the training from the very beginning. I only have myself to blame for not updating my website and not having any sales thus far. I'm probably not implementing everything that it says to in the training and so I've decided to go back to the beginning. Wish me luck that I stay on track and don't lose focus and keep an eye on my goals.

I've had these same thoughts. Been here a bit over a year and nothing money wise yet, but I think it's mostly me. I have looked back at the lessons and want to do more. So I'll be there too. :) Best wishes.
We're together in this. I barely started all over again. For some personal reasons my world literally stopped and I didn't wanna do anything anymore. But life must go on, so they say. I believe that WA can bring about our dreams to reality that's why I'm still here. We can do it! Let's keep moving on. Blessings ~Betcha
First step to sorting out issues is to accept you have an issue, so well done for recognising that the fault lies in the mirror!!
You have exactly the same tools available to you as you had before, and some may even say you have a head start, so get to it and good luck.

I would like to know who in this community is really making money to live off their site(s)? Not being a cynic, just curious, because my 1st year anniversary is coming up next month!

This is where you can earn money for free! Just need a small hard work! We should be so glad. Even if you earn 1 dollar ,do you know how it made me happy? Because that's where I got the feeling that I will be able to earn more and more money . Don't you agree! Good luck with your 1st year anniversary. So happy for you two! If you complete the affiliate bootcamp courses and work on your website every day (even if it is just for a few minutes), you will earn money. If you have selected an area of interest, and post to your website about your area of interest everyday, your site traffic will increase and you will earn ad revenue. That is basically how things work. Some have products they sell on their website, however, you don't need to sell products if that is not your interest. If you have expert knowledge in a particular subject, post information about what you know everyday to your site. If you don't have any area of expertise, you can always promote WA. Wise choice… If you are working full time, I would do it in manageable increments so as not to burn out. Perhaps an hour a day is a great way to re-start. Also research your niche carefully… check out your competition and see who you are competing with for visibility and visitors. The methods taught here do work… but it is up to you to create a site that people want to click on and explore.
Also the skills you gain learning to create an Online business are in demand skills you can take with you wherever you go… There are many opportunities once you master the many current skills taught right here. Learn and be patient… that is my advice.
