Short and Sweet

Back sometime in years 2000 +, I started looking at affiliate marketing. The field was new and it sounded very exciting. I even bought into some affiliate products, which, as I have come to learn, you absolutely do not have to do (buy in). Time went by, and my day job became all consuming, so you know the end of that story. . .. Nothing got done with my internet marketing plan, with the exception of the internet going crazy, all sorts of new technology and opportunities coming along, every day, and I kept buying domains in Go- Daddy.

So, now I am back at it, affiliate marketing, and these learning curves are steep. I am not a Millennial by a long-shot, and frankly this stuff is hard for me. I have an entire library of internet marketing books, some read, some not, soon to go on sale at Amazon, since, yay, I think I might be able to figure out how to add a link.

This blog post is really to say: I am grateful to have found Wealthy Affiliate and its one stop place to build a web site, host a web site, affiliate opportunities, amazing training courses, and a community of like-minded people with whom to share.

Thank you.

Dont give up. These guys make it pretty simple. Sing out to the community if you need help/

I need help financially help

I can relate to that too. And that does make things go slower. On the other hand, I find myself as short on time as on money. Good luck to you.

I'm right there with you on the steep learning curve. The tech is kicking my butt! I'm pleased there are step by step trainings on most of my issues. If not, then I post it or ask someone more advanced via private message. Good luck & loads of success to you!

Lots of luck to you, too. I did need extra help, just on some word press stuff, and I probably will again. One thing that helps me-- is to know that once I get to doing it a lot, it will be super easy, until the next new tech learning curve, of course.

This is my 3rd day as a starter. I am careful that there are add on costs besides the monthly subscriptions. Are we able to do everything by just paying the subscriptions? I need assurance as I do not want to fall into a trap of later realising I have to pay for the bits and pieces in order to complete the tasks.

So what will be the total yearly investment? I need a rough figure.

Thanks!

There aren't any add ons (except maybe your domain). Everything that you need (hosting, training...) is included in the membership. The only thing that I can think of that you have to pay besides the membership would be a domain name (ca 11$ per year).

So the yearly subscriptions will be...

Around 350 $

Hi Khy,
I understand your concern. Apart from the "premium" fee that there is - which by the way the annual fee saves you quite a bit of money! There is another cost of the Keyword search Jaaxy, but you don't HAVE TO have it, the keyword tool which is available to all paying members free.
Apart from that everything else is free. You do need to purchase a domain (13.99) but that is standard where ever you go.
I suggest to you to start off with the premium, build yourself a website, work at it for a while and add to your journey as you see yourself grow. You have a lot to learn, and this is a fascinating journey!
Good luck,
Orion

You are most welcome. I am also new, but the stuff I am learning here, 12 years of schooling cannot measure. Great company, new ideas, and yes, new challenges, I love it here.
