Gee. Yes I would remove the photo too. At this point when changing a theme, it can do strange things to what you have going on already in your website. I had to try a dozen to finally get the one that seemed to work for Me. There are so many out there you can try.
Every theme is a little different though. What theme is it?

It appears to be part of your page template - can you change the template to disable the 'featured image'?
Alternatively when editing the post, on the right side bar is the image under 'featured image'.

Did you try right clicking on image from the editor? If you right click over the image, it will give you an x to delete or pen icon to edit the image.

I had the same problem and someone said to go to add new and type in responsive. You'll see all themes and can choose. Only once you've added will you see under themes unless you go to add new again. Hope this helps!!

If you go to your dashboard and then to appearance...then to themes...you will then scroll down the page to where you can ad themes. See if this is working for you. If you cannot do this, then yes you may want to send in a support ticket.

Hi Amy, might I suggest you to submit a ticket? Because I can't really help with your purchased theme when it can't show up. But if you submit a ticket, I'm sure, you'll be very happy soon because they get back to you as soon as they can. I've done that with my own theme I've uploaded and gone blank on me.. And they helped me within the hour. All the best.
Once you've chosen a theme at set up I gather you're stuck with it. I can only see the default themes available on all Wordpress installs. Might be wrong, though!
No you're not stuck with it. You need to choose "add new" and select one that you like and then it will be added to your list of options.
when u r choosing your themes u have 2 tabs an all and a fav choose all when you have theme or themes u like u can mark them as

The boot camp is good, but it is really important to come up with your own niche. Bootcamp is just copying what has already been done basically to send traffic to WA. What you want to do is spend time on what you are interested in, and what is fun for you. The bootcamp for some is hard to get through because it may not be of much interest to be a copy cat. Don't get me wrong, it does teach you lots!
The niche website is where you want to go, and continue with learning.

I am not an expert. In fact, I am new in this arena. As a user/surfer, what I find matters a lot is the "real" factor. Keeping it real. If someone is authentic (like that wonderful smile in the author's pic), then I catch it. That will speak to me and I can get carried away with them. If someone is fake, I can sense that too and somehow that prevents me from taking in the content offered. Maybe it's a shortcoming on my part. Being authentic helps build trust and trust is essential!
