Slow Down I am Not Tech Savvy

Please could I just say this!
I am not a Tech Nerd. In 2016 I knew nothing about Building Websites. Not a thing. My only dream was to have my own Business Website.
I was lucky enough to come across Wealthy Affiliate. I spent the first 6 to 8 months training myself via the training within W.A. I did both of the training Classrooms. Cert and Bootcamp.
I had no time for interactions. I just wanted to get on with it.
I didn't have tons of W.A. friends. I didn't even enter Live chat that was just too scary for me back then.
I did stumble with my niche. I didnt have one. Not one that I could shout about that's for sure.
That really threw me. I couldnt think of one. I got stuck and I did think No Deb this isnt you!
Some how I refused to give up. Anyways I carried on and made mistakes then something hit me. Local Seo. It was a big light bulb moment. Wow. Just a few words in that training and Wham My light's were on.
I must have sat there for weeks woundering and not daring to ask any body if I could build this Local Seo website.
I contacted Kyle and asked him. Yes I was scared I felt silly too. I asked him if it was ok that I did a website for a car parking lot.
Kyle came back to me and said yes. It's my website my business my niche.
So I got on with it. I trained even more implementing everything I was taught into that Website. From Seo to google to yahoo bing etc analytics console etc etc. Pages privacy policy etc You know the drill.
Now, "Do I like the Website personally?" No I don't. I am all girly and like tons of pink.
I had to figure a way to make this Website work. So I had to step outside of the box and my comfort Zone and do a differn't approach. It, was hard! I Achieved it though.
That Website earns me money every week. It also gives me commisions on the big location managers that I get in.
One was from a new series that is coming out soon to the uk. I always get her name back to front and she is a fab actress but here she is for those in the UK Sheridan Smith starring in a new tv Series with ITV. Here is the guy from JLS. The Group that won on X factor.
Thats if any of you remember them.
(Funnily enough I do not watch TV at all. I do know Sheridan is a fab actress though) I also have to be careful when I post otherwise the hoards of fans would shut down the Isle of Dogs in Canary wharf. Anyways enough of that.
I just took the training from W.A. and implemented every bit of info I could. I knuckled down and studied and learnt some more.
I just happened to do really well. Did I go out of my comfort zone. Yes I did. Am I Tech savvy no I am not. Am I the best at what I do. No way of course not.
Am I good at what I do. Yes I must be, otherwise I wouldnt be sitting here, writing this post to all You lovely people.
All I did was just stay low and train and listen and follow all the guide lines that Kyle and Carson set out not just to me but to us all.
I took on board all the training from Jay. @magistudios Jay's training is GOLD Live Every Friday.
I am not the best and I still have to learn.
What I do is, I knuckle down and go over the training. Time and time again if I have too.
I am not a flash person but I like to share how far I have come.
Not everything I do I share. It, does take me a while to share. I don't want to come across as a Big Head.
I can help anybody but just remember I am no Tech Nerd. I just stuck to the training implemented and did well.
I learned alot because I made mistakes. Those mistakes I can help you with because I have been there and done them time and time again. So I know how it goes.
I actually love to help too. Please don't go all techy on me. I am not that clever and if I can help you I will. However I am really good at seo. Maybe that's down to the JAAXY tool and the training from Jay.

Thank you for your post, Deborah. I've been with WA for over 7 months and have not found my niche in affiliate marketing yet. And similar to what you are doing, I'm shifting into the local SEO niche now.
I remember asking about how tech savvy to a person have to be, in order to get into the local SEO niche, and you responded me - not very tech savvy, just follow the training, in one of Jay's live training. Thank you for sharing your experience.

To be honest the absolute key to any of this. Is in the training. I haven't even done ads yet so I have zillions to learn.
My websites are all based on the training I get here. ALL OF JAY'S TRAINING IS GOLD.
My websites rank but I have never paid to promote them.
I do not do back links etc and I rarely used social media to rank my Websites.
It's all down to the exceptional training here. I couldn't live with out it and I am forever learning.
Do I get better yes I do. An article I have written is just over a week old and ranks in google page 1.
No paid ads nothing just organic and the Jaaxy tool which is the best and of course the training.

I do hope so because I do know that feeling. I have been there. Sometimes even to the point of wanting to cry because I needed to succeed.
I wasn't willing to give up and I knew something here was different from all the rest of the platforms I have encountered.
I was tired of the scams etc.
Giving up wasn't an option for me. I am so happy I never gave up.
My only down fall Why on earth did I not find Wealthy Affiliate years ago.
