MLMs are mostly scams. They prey upon people who really can't afford to be in them.
It takes multiple talents to run teams, sell and keep recruiting. Most people don't have those.
I've seen the MO successful leaders use in MLMs. Dump a product for the new one and take your downline with you.
All money made by just signing up new contracts.
Religious fervor meetings.
No thanks.
MLM requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Team building and needs a lot of recruiting. Some MLM are not bad though. I like their education system (motivational books, etc.) and some high end products.
Being @ WA seems a better way though. You can actually use your knowledge to upgrade your MLM if you wish though . . . .
Hi,
Some company's have some great products too. It's the out dated ones that dont allow you to work from the internet which happened to me. I am not really into all that having home party's etc. That would drive me crazy. I spent a year with one and it drove me crazy.
I am so glad I met W.A. they are the ones that have helped me to move forward and here nobody holds you back they just help you. Which is brilliant.
Yes I would say for those in MLM could do with Wealthy Affiliate to move there businesses up the next level.
Debs ;-)
Many, many years ago, a very impressionable cousin of mine dragged me along to an MLM evening at a fancy hotel.
I observed full-on cult recruitment methods at work that evening. It was fascinating watching otherwise sane people have their buttons so easily pushed. Nil defences! All their usual critical thinking abilities sidelined.
Hi, Ivy,
I know what you mean. I have seen so many been sucked in and just loose money. It's a shame. It happened to me and my sponsor and her up line were friends of mine for 20 years.
They took my work and my ideas. Stopping me from moving forward.
I was just another product buyer to them.
Not any more may I add. I love it where I am now in W.A.
Debs. ;)
You are right, Debs.
MLM is not for me either.
For some MLM companies selling products, I hate having to meet the monthly quota, usually having to buy extra or unnecessary products on a monthly basis.
A few years ago I went with my wife to meet a person in the MLM selling some glorified insurance plans, calling herself a "financial adviser." When I ask her what her ideal customers were, she could not even give me an exact profile of her ideal customers. Those training sessions seemed much like the brain washing crap to me. My wife did not take the offer in the end, mostly due to not feeling comfortable selling things that are NOT valuable to customers.
BTW, is it Friday yet? I'm having a rough week. :)
Hugh
Awe bless her at least your wife realised in time.
I too wish it was Friday.
I hope your week gets better too.

I always dread seeing an invitation to an MLM party because I don't want to feel pressured into buying anything. Especially stuff that I don't really want. I want to support my friends, but totes awkward. No thank you!
I know isn't it awful. I supported my friend last time it cost me 200 quid. I just cant do all that party thing.
I spent a year with one company and all I wanted to do was work online and they just held me back.
My sponsor, I knew for over 20 yrs it's the sheer greed I cant hack with them.
Everything they said I couldn't do they did themselves. Just me I suppose not all MLM is bad.
Debs ;-)
Not to sound redundant but yep I get it. My wife went down his path so many times. we're just starting to pull out of it.
Awe bless you actually its not so bad but I got burnt a few times with it and anyways I like Eminem and he fits in with MLM .
No Iam only joking. Lol Just to lighten the mood.

I feel ya, Debs! Never was impressed by MLMs. If anything, you end up turning off a bunch of friends who think the only reason you're spending time with them is to lure them into a scam of some sort. That may or may not be true, depending what you're selling or how much you bug them about it, but it is what they're likely to think. To them, all that stuff sounds very much the same.
Hi, Vinnie,
It's definitely not for me thats for sure, Lol I still hope you dont mind me calling you Vinnie.
It's kind of stuck for me now. See you have to admit he looks like you. :)
~Debs
Haha! That's perfectly alright, Debs, lol. :-)
You're the awesomest, by the way! ;-)
Awe thank you Vinnie and so are you too. :)))
