Just got my backside kicked by Google
There I am getting notification from Google that some sites of mine are mobile friendly and they can be used to be indexed. As Google is now using Mobile web pages to index rather than using Desktop Pc's and laptops. (If your site isn't mobile friendly start sorting it now) They use the android I like Android. :)
So I got my emails via google usual stuff however one of my sites wasn't happening. That's when I thought OK let me take a look.
Oh man the errors. 22 blummin pages of them. Easy errors may I add. Here is the stupid mistakes I made.
"The list is endlessss I could cry my eyes out but I won't. I might though crying my eyes out lol. emoji crying where's that emoji when I need him :((( he's on mobile :(((".
I have been blipping out content but never checking silly things like Grammar, Alt tags, images, adding in some good SEO. The most important parts of my businesses. I was just so busy doing one thing I neglected the most important issues. I did the home work make some images. My own ones. NOT GOOD ENOUGH SHODDY WORK DEBORAH.... Smmmhh :(((
I did all that but totally neglected my site. It was a rush job. In fact each post I wrote I remember that day. Then my blog roll got too long so I added in custom menus all on a rush job. My menus were all askew they didn't exist anymore. They couldn't be clicked on they were just coming short of yep Nothing. Categories what the heck categories for everything but lead to nothing....
Smmmmmhhhh on me. That's because I multi tasked. I had one priority and while that priority ran forward the other site slipped behind. I totally had wasted my time and gave out absolute shoddy posts. I didn't even realize.
Well I do now because this Website means so much to me. 22 pages and a whole lot more stuff I need to do to bring this back up. I now have more time on my hands. So I can regulate and fix this site. I WILL FIX THIS SITE. I wished I didn't have to though!!
Please do not multitask. IF, you feel your gaining traffic on ne site then don't leave it behind to start another. You don't have to be consistently on Google webmaster tools but you do need to take care of the site your working on.
Do not do what I did blip out content cause you thought you had the time. Another major mistake of mine.
One site can earn me fortunes when in all essence the next I just blip out like no tomorrow could actually kill all of my sites all together.

Thank you for sharing. My theme said it was mobile ready. Not far enough along to understand if I need to do more when setting up my website. I'm sure I will be calling on your experience with this.

I'm at a stand still at the moment. I had to contact the theme designer to get the menu to work right. Waiting 3-5 days for a response.
The website runs straight down the page. Tried to use navigation widget and customize it. Nothing will work.
I feel your pain, believe me.
I'll get there soon enough though.

Oh wow, who was your theme designer lucky for me if I need that support I get it almost instantly here. This was my own stupid errors in all essence.
Mine wasn't on the theme side more on my human error side. What was your theme I am intrigued now :)

I always find myself going back to the basics on everything I do I guess its my way of making sure that I have taken out the garbage and in return letting the good stuff in. I know I have just started but I must say I have learned a lot. I suffer from OCD and I need things to be absolutely perfect. The bad side is I find myself picking on myself and this is when I have to take a step back and realize the purpose in why I do what I do and with that I always seem to get those wonderful feelings back when I first started doing whatever it is that am doing at that point of time. Point being stop being so rough on yourself am sure that your fully capable of knocking it out of the park.

For the first time maybe that OCD is good.
Pick on everything you see. Challenge yourself and whatever you do make it better if you don't. Then like me, you will have to backtrack.
I think anyone here who has OCD will become the perfect blogger hard work I know but still what you put out will be pristine and super clean to the max.

A good lesson for all of us to remember. What I do now is go over a checklist after publishing every post to make sure that I remember all the little stuff you have to do to get it finalized. That has helped me a lot.

Yes, certainly multitasking is not my best thing. I am paying the price for shoddy work. Wished I didn't have to but I need to now.
22 posts all in all and to think I could spend my time doing new posts. We live and learn.
I needed to share this because it's needed from us on all parts. Hope I help others not to make the same mistakes.
