Affiliate Analogy Continues….

M and N is for Mother Nature

I couldn’t resist combining these two letters. It was such a natural fit. Veronica, who is also doing an analogy series, (@VeronicasLuv) did it first with her beautifully written analogy on Family Gatherings. I saw that as a challenge to do the same at some point.

Wikiquote gives an official definition of Mother Nature. It is a common personification of nature that focuses on the life-giving and nurturing aspects of nature by embodying it in the form of the mother. (https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Mother_Nature)

When I think of Mother Nature, I envision all the beauty that surrounds us. Being very prolific, Mother Nature provides us with a beautiful variety of land formations, a bouquet of colorful flowers, and contrasting weather patterns from frigid ice regions to tropical forests. Each aspect of Mother Nature has its own characteristics and no two items are exactly alike.

Another trait of Mother Nature is her tenacity. She is very persistent; never giving up; always striving to survive. Weeds are a good example of this characteristic. Not only do they keep coming back after we think we’ve eliminated them, but they flourish in the most unsuspecting places. As I write this, I have a weed growing in my patio, which is all brick and receives absolutely no water. It started out as a little seedling. I have no idea where the seed came from. It is now about two feet high, clinging against the wall. It looks pretty and I just don’t have the heart to pull it out of the ground. (the mother aspect of nature) I bet if I did, it would grow right back!

Being prolific and tenacious are two qualities we all need to succeed as Affiliate Marketers. I see these positive aspects of Mother Nature in the members of Wealthy Affiliate.

Prolific….absolutely! The number of blogs, articles, or reviews posted each week to our websites is mind-blowing. In addition to writing for our websites, many members write daily or weekly blogs for the community. We can’t forget all the training that is produced by our members. Each week Jay presents a new live training video. Without a doubt, I would say that Wealthy Affiliate is prolific in what it creates.

Tenacity…absolutely! When things get challenging, it is so easy to give up. But, we are a determined group! Our fellow members give us motivation to keep moving ahead. The training gives us the tools to continue working toward our goals. We will not be deterred until we see those referrals and commissions.

Each one of Mother Nature’s creations are different. The majestic mountain is so different from the delicate rose, but they all add to the beauty of the world we live in. The same is true of the members in Wealthy Affiliate. We are all different. Not only do our skill set vary, but also our interests cover a wide spectrum. The thing that unites us is our desire to succeed in this online world.

Wealthy Affiliate can help us achieve that success.

I hope you find these blogs fun to read. Honestly, they are probably doing much more for me than for you. Writing in this "safe environment" has improved my creative, writing skills; practice makes perfect. Although, I am not providing technical skills, I hope I am showing the benefits of being a member of Wealthy Affiliate. Comments and feedback are appreciated.

Hi Ariel...thank you for visiting and commenting. We're a persistent group that keeps moving forward...with a little help from our friends.
Debbie

Fabulous, Debbie. Those pictures are so perfectly chosen. And you have woven in such a clever message. I agree that being prolific and tenacious are two ultra-important qualities for any blog owner to have.

Thanks for your kind words...an important reason for me to do this series is just to get in the habit of writing...it's working...I look forward to the writing process.

I like your take on Mother Nature Debbie. Yes, we are all so different and unique in our ways and understanding.

Mother Nature is everything to me she not only provides beauty but provides for the well being of all the earth and all things upon the earth, in ways that we can't even imagine. Just starting with the creation.

All things are created for the dominion of mankind and mother nature is the center of all living things without her we can not survive in this world.

There is so much I can write about, are we looking after her?

much regards LInda

At risk of breaking rules...Mother Nature is God! Yes...we can go on and on. So glad you could relate. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Linda

We are bound to Mother Nature. It is wonderful to behold nature, so incredible. Taking time away and absorbing nature's magnificence feeds our soul.

Nourishing our soul makes us better business people. Thanks for commenting.

Ahh Haa! You combined "M" and "N" so beautifully, Debbie.

It's interesting, we would never think to compare a rose with a mountain, but how often do we compare ourselves with others! The more I think about it, the more it seems not only is it absurd but a total waste of time!

Loved how you closed your post. For me, writing this analogy is helping me to finish what I started. I joined Bo's group weeks after making the decision to start this analogy, so my days have definitely been a lot busier. There have been a few times I was going to put the analogy series on hold, but Frank reminded me that we don't have to post this every day, so that gave me a relief. After all, this is all in fun!

Great job, Debbie!

You always add another level of understanding to what I write! I'm not even in Bo's group and feel overwhelmed sometimes. But it's a good lesson in commitment and I feel a good sense of satisfaction each time I complete a letter. But Frank is right...no time table...whenever we can....except that darn Frank is prolific and writes just about every day....he keeps me going! Lol
Debbie

I know...and he does it with such ease and is so humble about his talent!

It's definitely been great being on this particular journey with the both of you; I believe teh lesson of finishing what you started will really stay with me. So many goodies from doing this series!

I'm kind to mother nature Debbie. Really I am!

I believe you!
