When I create a blog/article for my site, I make sure I put it in the title, the mega title and within the first paragraph or two.
But I also add the keyword in my title
It sounds like keyword stuffing to me David https://marionblackonline.com/looking-for-answers-not-questions/
Everyone agrees that keywords added to the Alt. image tag is not a good idea. Try adding LSI keywords How to use LSI Keywords
Keyword stuffing is when you use the same keyword over and over again. It applies to both images and content.
Image titles and image title attributes are intended to help people understand why you used a certain image.
The image alternative text and the filename/URL are the main places to use keywords that also relate to your content.
Don't use the same keyword for each image. Use keywords that both describe the image and inform users about the content of the article. ~Jude
Here is a link Dave to get an idea.
You should not use keywords in alt if they are unrelated to the image you are using. And I wouldn't stuff too many of the same keywords in all images.

Do keywords on images count toward keyword stuffing?

I’ve been noticing in my short time here that some plug ins appear to create problems for people. I think that may have even been one of my issues with Amazon links. Alth
I would avoid ANY that have not been updated in 3+ months as well as ones that have not been tested with the current version of WP. Yesterday I posted about setting up a free sandbox site via SiteRubix. This would be the place to check plugins and their functionality and compatibility prior to messing up the site that you are building to earn money. :-)
Good point Bob. FYI....every time you mention sandbox, I think back to my childhood when our cats use to think the sandbox was a liter box. LOL
Hey Bob, that's a pretty nifty idea with SiteRubix !
I have had no issue jet...but pretty sure I can avoid that particular by doing the rubix site first!
Thanks!
Tom
The Amazon Link Builder could not allow me to log into my site from every device.

I don't like plugins that when installed, will ask you to install more plugins, that if you do not follow their asking, the original plugin won't work properly. Crazy.

What plug ins would you recommend to avoid?

Hi Everyone,
I have done several searches on this but still don’t see the answer to my question on this for formatting of my website. It may be my particular temp
I have the same problem since I changed my theme...so I will change it again! Since it seems like this theme does NOT want me to change the header...my old one did! Oh well, good thing its a new site.
Hope this helps
If you go to his site, you will notice that the breaking news headline is gone and he is using the same theme.
So he found a solution. Either here, maybe in the discussion thread below, or somewhere else, and applied it.
So no need for him to change his theme.
If you cannot remove that on the customization you better change your theme if you do not like it. It may be a built-in feature that can not be customized.
This is a good question and you have been given some good advice.I wish you all the best in resolving your issue.
Have a good, productive, and happy day!
Anita
I used Internet Explorer to retrieve your home page. Then pressed F12 to get the source for the page and looked for "breaking". I found a reference to "kopa-ticker". So a google search showed that there is a WP plugin called "Kopa Framework plugin". This may be a 'complete hit' or a 'compete miss', if you are using this plugin, it MAY be responsible.
Another WA member had a discussion where that person wanted to add tickets: How to add a ticker on the ad mag-lite theme? It may be helpful because you may want to add tickets.
Also look at that discussion.
Someone mentioned looking in Theme Options > General > Header Headline
Hope this helps in pointing you in the right direction.
Hi David
Copy and paste the following (within the dashed lines) into your custom CSS.
Dashboard=>Appearance=>cusom CSS
-------------------------------------------
.kopa-header-top {
display: none;
}
-------------------------------------------
David
That should work. it should remove the whole dark grey header.
If it doesn't work, try this variant:
-------------------------------------------
.kopa-header-top {
display: none
!important;
}
-------------------------------------------
You can also adjust what you are removing, by replacing
.kopa-header-top
with
.header-top-left
or
.kopa-ticker
(remember to include the dot in the start)
As Alan mentioned below, first try the theme forum. It should be a feature that you can disable in Customizer. If not, you need to isolate it using developer tools and then add CSS. For example, in my sites where I don't want the page title to appear, I add .entry-title { display: none; } and the title is removed. Best of luck! :-)
It does sound like a theme issue, unless you've installed a plugin and it's upsetting your theme.

I just realized that the Amazon links I have inserted into my reviews are not working for me. I did a live chat with Amazon this morning and they suggested I needed to get Ad
I would give It 24 hrs. after clearing and reinserting everything David. During gifting season I wouldn't trust how they are wearing on!
Good point Michael. I never thought of that. I have found out that the only link that works for me as of right now is the "text only" and only the Amazon text of the product description. If I try to use any other version of Amazon links right now, they all fail.
So at least I will have one good link on my pages once I get through these edits. I am just trying to making them obvious with a "Click here to purchase" text before the link.
Thanks for your input.
Dave
Are they a HTML links for images or images and text or just image?
I get the image from the site then get the text only code which I shorten and then attach this code to the inserted image. This works best for me.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen
I was doing it the same way you were and found that none of my links were working. So this morning I tried inserting html for image/text and the link for it did not work either.
This is either an error with Amazon or your theme is not compatible. I feel for you. Technology is a wonderful thing when it flipping well works !
It's Grace and Gratitude
Karen
I did. That was the first thing I tried this morning on one of my review blog pages and was crossing my fingers it would work. It didn't. Ugh!
I haven't had this problem, or at least I haven't yet. Did you try searching for answers in the toolbar at the top of the page. I'm sure this has been addressed here at WA before.
See my response to Michael above. Only one way that is working for me right now! At least I figured out ONE good link to use.
No offense, I sure am glad I don't have your migraine condition right now as this day would have surely brought one on. I think I need pizza and ice cream for dinner! LOL
I'm sorry. I was trying to help. I thought I had read your answer to Mike. I must have missed something.
I'm glad that you don't get migraines - period. I wouldn't wish them on anyone.

Good Monday morning all,
I have been bookmarking and adding tags to blog posts I find helpful that I want to go back to one day. My question is, how do I find these boo
Good question! Glad you asked.
Click the star to the right of the search bar. Now we both know.
~Bob
Haha! I thought it was just me! I've been bookmarking stuff and losing it because I didn't know where they were located! Seems obvious now :-D Thanks for this post
I start Mine..later date!
Then, search, just stars!!
It works 'til a better answering that' assuming you don't delete any, which I don't...Just tried finding date - started..on PC can go to oldest , really easy!
I' LL be looking for your answer, as well!
Til, I got my way...
B.
For the tags you have added, click the star next to the search bar at the top of the page. Next to the airplane icon.
David
You are welcome!
Just remember, the tags are added/created on the other "star" icon next to the number of comments bubble (under "last updated").
David
Use a tag that you will remember, for instance I use "dontmiss" on blogs I want to read later.
Damo
Hi Damo,
Actually I have been giving them short tags like SEO as I know that if I want to search it, that is what i would use to search for it. I just tried Marion's answer below and searched for SEO. The training on SEO all appear first and the blogs I have bookmarked on SEO appear below it. Very cool!
Start typing a tag into the search box at the top of the page where it says "Hey David, search for help here..."
