Waiting on the Hurricane!
As I sit here at the computer working on my blogs and pages trying to refine things,(thats a nice way of saying correct the mistakes), my geographical area is under a hurricane watch. This is the first one in four years. We have been lucky. This doesn't seem to be a particularly strong one but you never know. I have my batteries and flashlights and candles. I do need to go out in the morning for dog food. An essential for sure.
I am working on my second post for my web page, phase 1 lesson 9 Bootcamp. My writing skills are getting better. Can't wait till I can get one done without so many rewrites. Hehe Well I will be here writing away as long as the water doesn't come up to the door or they don't call for evacuation. I hate evacuating! One thing about a storm is you don't have to feel guilty about mowing the lawn. Hehe
So far this has been a great experience, I have learned so much in a short time. I am only a week into this journey. I want to thank everyone who has offered advice and helped out along the way and I look forward to Paying It Forward!

Hi Dennis, I totally agree with the concept of paying it forward. You stay safe, buddy, and let us know how it all goes!
Gee I haven't heard about that hurricane... I see you are in Florida, I'm in Australia & the news has talked about one in Hawaii. I have looked at the world weather map & see what you are talking about... Stay Safe, Linda

If you are referring to the Florida panhandle, the tropical storm is expected to gather strength to become a minimal hurricane when it comes onshore. Do you have a generator?
No generator but a good plan in place.
