the Trade Show Industry
The pandemic has caused many (nearly all) trade shows to cancel or to postpone. There are some that have scheduled dates for 2021 later in the year.
In spite of the reduction in trade shows, I believe that there are companies who need help with their trade show programs so that when the time comes they are ready and able to participate in shows.
Since 2015 I have worked as an independent contractor helping companies solve trade show issues and be able to exhibit professionally and efficiently. My extensive knowledge means I know how to get things done before, during, and after a show. When a problem comes up (and they always do), I can resolve it quickly.
I am wondering if any of my WA followers have any thoughts about how I might be able to reach out to organizations and let them know about me and my passion for the trade show business. Not looking for a job, but rather independent contracting or consulting.

I subscribe to the Independent Retailer magazine. (check https://independentretailer.com/). It is a publication for both independent retail store owners and online store owners focusing on wholesale buying and selling.
Usually, there is information about trade shows. So maybe you could check it out.
What about emailing companies directly introducing yourself and giving the link to your website.
Thinking you and I should exchange links.
I have recently started a new website for a family member who relies on trade shows for a large part of his income.
The website here.

PM me if you want.
Michael.
What a neat opportunity you have with such a background of experience. I have no knowledge of that industry.
I am wondering if any of the related websites need tweaking. Or if they are getting enough traffic to their websites. Helping with SEO of even with the way they present their Websters may be an opportunity.
You certainly have a lot to offer.
You could certainly offer to do the SEO on an ad-hoc basis, where if they like the results remuneration could be provided. Even if you did not get paid you would be getting contacts.
