Good is the enemy of great
Often, we are GOOD at something and we let that stop us for becoming GREAT. I know that this happens to me. I will be satisfied that I am good at lawn care, for example. Grass looks green, trees are trimmed, hedges are well kept, and the patio is clean. So, why invest time and energy in any projects to improve the lawn or the patio? Everything is GOOD! By being satisfied with GOOD I am not getting the added joy of a GREAT looking lawn or a GREAT patio.
Good To Great is the title of a book by Jim Collins and it publishes the research that he and a team did about 20 years ago of companies who were not satisfied with GOOD and moved to being GREAT.
Examine your own WA business. Are you good at it (blogging, training, commenting)? I hope you are! But, don't let GOOD be the enemy of your GREAT.
I know I am going to go from GOOD to GREAT! Now, where is that fertilizer spreader?

I heard that good is average or meeting expectations. Great is exceeding expectations! We all want or should strive for exceeds expectations! Good post.
Thanks Dave :)

Nice distinction. Kinda like the difference between an A and an A+
