Why I Love Schema Lite
Some months back you may remember that I changed my theme because of a breadcrumbs error I was encountering. I changed it again when I gave my site a face lift a little while ago.
What I learned though was to ensure that my theme was using schema rather than data-vocabulary.
However, what I really love about SCHEMA LITE which uses AIOSEO is the fact that each time I publish a new post I can see my SEO score.
Additionally, at the bottom of each post, there is a breakdown of everything I need to make my post better.
If I haven't done it, I see it showing up as an error in red and if I have then it's green. This has certainly helped me to improve each post as I publish them.
If I click on the item I am able to see more details on what's causing each error.
I also did a site audit on SEMRush recently and made loads of corrections based on the site audit. Again I saw my SEO score rise on each This has helped tremendously in terms of finding and fixing HTTP mixed content errors, adding alt texts (these were missing from my earliest posts) and much more.
I used the free version of SEMRush mind you (no credit card information) and I must say I will do a site audit each month.
Part of this report identifies pages without external and internal links, compared the site to the top ten on the internet and much, more.
When clicked each one of those pictures gave a breakdown of the errors and actually pinpoint the pages so I was able to go there and make the necessary changes.
While I've fixed the errors and the warnings some will take more time but I'm working on them.
I found it easy to understand, very detailed in the information it provided, and generally a great tool to use.
I am very satisfied with these two.

Very appreciative for this- was actually going to look into getting an expert to help me on this, my niche definitely requires it for dynamic schema- but it sure doesn't hurt learning the basics myself.

I'm still producing pages and posts in WordPress at this point, but I will look into the add-ins you suggest in due course.

Schema Lite is a WordPress theme that comes with these features built-in. SEMRush is an SEO tool. Just look it up online.
Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.
Also, you can continue to write in WordPress but there are good reasons for using the site content instead. Firstly when your articles are indexed you will be able to see this in the site content editor.
The Content editor monitors your writing progress and should you ever lose any of your posts they are saved in the site content.

Thanks for the information. I did not know about semrush. I will have to do it. I love the new aioseo. That it gives you your score and what needs to be fixed. I am fixing my articles now by adding external links. It says add a title but there is one so I just skip that because I do have a title.

Thanks for stopping by Alicia. Ensure that you do not enter your credit card information to use semrush.
My research shows that others have had problems canceling their application once the credit card number has been entered.
You can try it without doing so.
