Good night from Guyana.

In our chosen field, it is usually the most successful people that we look to emulate.

If you read my blogs then you know I like to follow the most successful people. As I read their blogs and look at their YouTube videos I find a million questions I'd like to ask them.

I often search their posts and to have my curiousity fulfilled.

Each one of you in your chosen niche should be aware the experts. I am curious, do you ever wish for a chance to sit down with them? Maybe have morning coffee?

If the opportunity ever present itself, who would you most like to have morning coffee with?

What would your top three questions be?

Hi Candy, so nice to see you after a long time. Hope you are doing well. Asides from Kyle, Carson, and Jay there are members who are smart as a whip.
I would ask them: How to organize my website.
How to promote products to make sales.
How to develop a contact list and autoresponder to go along with it.

All the best,

Michael

Hi Michael, great to see you too.

Have you ever reached out to these super smart mambes to have a chat about business?

They are easily within reach and I believe this could potentially positively impact your business.

Candy Benn

Hi Candy, I tried thesea supet mambeera, but was unable to get to them. I will try again later. Mich appreciated

Best wishes,
Michael

Oh my! Michael, I am so sorry for my errors in response. New phone and unfortunately I didn't notice until now.

If one won't help try another.

Candy Benn

We all make mistakes Candy and you never have to say you are sorry to me.

Hello Candy
Interesting question
The person in question that I would want to interview and have coffe with is Richard Branson

I guess because of his many businesses under one umbrella. That has always intrigued me and that is how I am trying to make my business.

First, I would ask him if he had a visualisation of his business prior to starting? And if so, what would be his advice about those if us that is working towards fulfilling our business vision.

Secondly, I would want to find out his thoughts on how he ensure that his business are performing excellently despite the economic and the ongoing pandemic.

Thirdly, I would want to know what's his secret to keep on going throughout all the years now since he started?

Simone that is awesome. These answers says a lot about your preparedness for this journey. These answers says you already know who your biggest competitor is.

What if you managed to get all the answers from him?

My next question would be what would you do with the answers he gives?

Candy Benn

Since success gives clues, I would copy his answers and implement it in my own unique way.
I would then add extra value and follow that to be as successful as he is

Simone fantastic answer. Since we don't always get the chance to sit with the gurus a newspaper search for any interviews he has done may provide the answers.

Most people as they rise to the top would be interviewed in the leading newspapers and magazines.

Additionally there is nothing stopping you from reaching out to ask. The worst he could do is refuse. He may surprise you and agree.

Imagine how much this could change your life and the course of your business.

Candy Benn

Absolutely :)

I guess I took this as more of a "world view" since so many people even here at WA are from other places rather than the US. A lot of people in my chat groups are from the UK, Australia, and the middle east. Our websites can be seen from anywhere, so I would probably pick a foreign person to interview to see "they" would prefer to see as an international and "friendly" global community of individual countries. I appreciate what you said about Richard Branson.... strategic and deeply respectful of someone you admire. I don't have a person like that to model myself after,, but i think I'll find someone I too look up to and model some of my own principles after theres. :)

Enjoy your day Simone.

Hi Denise,
I chose Richard because of his umbrella brand business. It is also in the UK.
Have you not heard about Virgin Airlines?
All his business are under http://virgins.com and that is something I am trying to follow
You, have a good Sunday as well

I see you have done your market research Simone. These are people who you can learn from.

Candy Benn

Market research is a significant factor in us moving forward
You taught me that.
I learned from the best :)

Lol. That goes both ways Simone. I have learned a lot from you.

Besides, you have a curious mind. I know you would have gotten there without me.

Candy Benn

Yup
I've curious but I'm not sure about that statement :)

Oh yes you would. You have a date with Success and I know you will push through the limits to do it. That is why you will ensure that you learn all you can and challenge yourself until you get there.

Candy Benn

We are the same :)

Hey Candy great topic!

My first choice would be Jesus Christ!!!

However, since we are probably talking about regular human beings, I would choose Elon Musk.

The first thing I would ask him is, what factors played the most important role in deciding the businesses that he got involved with and started?

The second thing that I would ask him is, how he evaluates a major business decision?

Lastly, I would ask him if he believes he will be able to colonize space in his lifetime and how will he accomplish it?

I hope my choice and questions will add value to you your post?

Many Blessings :)

Zach

Zack,
Great questions. How would the answers impact how you manage your own business?

Candy Benn

Thank you!

Well I would definitely file them in my mental rolodex (probably write them down too) and then pull them out and use them along with what I already know, when it comes to making decisions on getting involved with or starting a business.

I would also take it into consideration when making decisions within my businesses.

As far as the space colonization, I'm just curious!

Zach :)

Awesome answer Zach. Learning from those who have walked the path before is a great way to build a successful business. You can learn from their mistakes as well as their successes.

Nothing wrong with curiosity. Although I hope he never manages to colonize space however.

Lol

Candy Benn

Thank You!

Also, I'm with you on the colonization, but I doubt they will be able to do it in our lifetime. (not on any mass scale anyway)

Zach :)

Yea CARIBBEAN QUEEN, I want to sit with you and have a chat ,
This is a excellent post ,
Why
We are a community and we need to know stuff about each other because we are also BUSINESS ASSOCIATE
So me I have nothing to hide
I am from Jamaica
WHA GWAN ""
That's how we say
How are you in Jamaican Lingua
I know you know because Guyana is just a stone throw away
Tel me something about the Carribean queen

Hello Hentley,
Well you are right about my familiarity with the lingo. I believe all the important answers are on my profile.

I'm a PROUD, patriotic Guyanese and Caribbean Woman looking to use my knowledge to positively impact the lives of the people in the Caribbean.

Strangely enough in a time when the focus seem to be on pushing women to the front I'd love to positively impact the lives of young Caribbean MEN.

I believe that some of the growing problems we encounter has much to do with the lack of investment (Not necessarily financial) into the lives of Caribbean Men. Maybe men in general.

Society's problems impact all our lives. While I can't convince everyone to think the way I do or get involved, I believe I can do well by starting with the woman in the mirror.

Could have much to do with my desire to have my boys understand their place.

My top three questions would be: #1; "What kind of coffee do you drink and how do you prepare it?" #2: "Do you like war or peace?" #3: Tell me something about your life and how you live; I am interested and would like to become more familiar with your customs and beliefs." I always dreamed of going to India and riding bikes in the streets, and other places all over the world. I guess coffee would be one of the reasons; I love it; and I have had a cup a day since I was a small child. My grandparents put it in my bottle; Danish, so they had different beliefs. I spent a lot of time in "Its a small world" at Disneyland when I was a kid. You could say it was a good babysitter sometimes when a parent had to work and had passes. It wasn't a bad way to spend the day. :) I always loved the ride, and spent hours a day on and off of it and the "Pirates of the Carribean" as well. I saw the different outfits in IASW and cute children and I always thought it would be that way, that is until I grew up. :)

I hope this answers your question Candy. And good-night to you in Guyana from midwest US. Sleep tight, and don't you dare worry about anything tonight! :)

1. Thank you for stopping by Denise. Lol, I wasn't expecting this to be one where I get interviewed. I like my coffee black. In Guyana we don't count sugar since it is in grains. So not sure how mush is one or two sugar. Lol.

2. Would that be the book War or Peace or literal war or peace?

3. I am a farm girl so I love the slow lane and open air. The city is to be taken in small doses.

Candy Benn

Tell me about it! I grew up in the traffic of Los Angeles California and then moved to Las Vegas before it turned into a million plus population. There was nothing at all there when I moved there; had to leave for a small town in a hurry! :) I don't use sugar in my coffee; used to drink it black until I noticed the rich choclately taste you get from a pinch of real cream or whip cream. OMG; I was gone for life! And it would real war I'd ask about. What is your opinion on what truly causes it, and do you feel anger in your heart for other people you've never met. Thirdly, tell me about what it's like to live here; to be you, and what you do. I can't help but wonder if we would all get along with no problem if it wasn't for the element of surprise evil.

Well farm girl, I come from farm stock, but between the city and the farm, I'm somewhere in between, just can't get used to the humidity. Have a wonderful Sunday CaribbeanQ! :)

Denise I'd rather have peace but in the nature of man this tends to change rapidly, and in the nature of my people we don't run.

"Evil flourish when good men stay silent", is a favored quote of mine.
