Why is it that I cannot gets my posts to posts on a specific page? I want the first page to be just what the sight is about and the posts to go to a specific pages personal i
Becase posts and pages are two completly different things and they cannot be placed on or in one another.
If you want your home page to be a specific page, you need to make that page a static page. This way anyone who comes to your site will always see that page.
All your post will always be on your blog roll. I did a traning video a while back about creating a static homepage. Setting A Static Page In Wordpress Hope that hleps
I didn't not save it!!! It's all functioning quite well now!!! Thank you for the info. Next time I'll keep lookout for "save"

I did that :) and so when was unable to tranfer my posts I decided that I needed to copy and paste and so now when I do that it says my content is copied and I get a big WARNING but its still posts on the main page ? I'll have to look again maybe I didn't save it ?

ive created another blog but it will not post!!!! getting frustrated
Only one per day for new members. Save the draft and post tomorrow. Or, alternately, save the draft, exit and re-enter the posting area and try again. Sometimes the site times out while trying to make the post.
I havent posted for a couple days. Ive been trying since yesterday to post. It doesnt say anything like pictures messed or too big or to many words etc.... it just wont publish

it says its unsafe.
looks like your antivirus is not allowing you access because the site has not got a proper security certificate...you can exclude the site in your antivirus dashboard so it does not ban it.
I am a certified techie......it could be something very simple. Have you made sure you've activated your Windows Operating System Completely, & all of your security as well?
You're always the admin on new computers now. Have you named yourself/Computer Name? If not it could be only allowing guest rights.
Wow, I would say, just guessing as I don't have the physical laptop in front of me; that it's likely an activation issue, or a security issue that's not allowing WA through the Firewall & vice-versa, or an admin setting that's not giving you full admin rights.
It can't be your Internet Service Provider; try accessing other secure things like your email accts etc. If you can't access them, it's a security issue.
Go into the log files of your antivirus & see if it's blocking WA for some reason.
Google your exact model & Serial Number from the sticker underneath your laptop & see if that model has had any other similar issues reported.
If you see any weird behaviour or symptoms, feel free to get back to me & I'll try to narrow it down even further. Honestly, it's a new laptop, which means it could be numerous things.
I'm sorry I can't help you out more, as I don't want you to do things that you're not familiar with.
I hope that it's been resolved already, but please don't hesitate to send me a msg if you notice any other symptoms too.
