At the bottom of the page. Is there a way to move them at the top insted? Thanks
Yes you can move them, but you will have to use a different plugin to put them in different places.
I managed to get my social links

Of the three comments below, a different plugin to find. There are many who have written about it. Please go to the search box above after our 'magnifying glass' and type in 'social plugins'. The first one is Kyle's I think.
Am still searching for the right one for my theme. Wordpress has many, each seem to be theme dependent. But thinking will just type mine in the footer and add a direct link to my profile.
Keep in mind, each social plugin icon or link takes your reader from your site.
Or you if you use the thesis theme go here:

Hope this helps you in your decision. If you need more help, please ask. ^_~

but I would like to have a column on the side, something working as a reminder, or sticky post. How can I do it?
common side bar widgets are subscribe forms/auto-responder scripts, tag clouds, recent posts, and pages on our site...it is easy as has been suggested to find something to suit- I would think it wise to work out if you can make it more appealing for your visitors and help your commercial cause by adding in a call to action, good luck, Andy
I managed to change the theme and get what I wanted, thanks to the help of my great friends here at WA.
Thank you one and all
Hi again, I would always back up your site before updating, changing your theme etc.. just in case. "Welshy" and 'Labman" and others have tutorials on that too.,
Hi, I think one answer to your question could be to change to a theme which allows two columns, one for text and a sidebar for widgets etc. Once you have done it once, changing themes is relatively simple and there are many to choose from. Also, if you change and do not like it. you can simply revert.
Hope this helps.
Regards and good luck
Hi Donatella,
The twentythirteen theme doesn't have the option for a sidebar. Twentyfourteen will provide a left sidebar and there are other themes which allow you to choose left, right or both sides for sidebars.
Hi, you can use the search bar, just type in "sticky post" there is some training on there.
ex: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/make-a-wordpress-post-sticky
A column on the side, I think would depend on your theme, you can look into Appearance > widget from the dashboard.. hope this helps a bit :-)

I would like to know if you get notifications from mails that are evidently using your website for o
I am getting notice on my food webstite from different email addresses, which are referring to sales of false Chanel bags, Monclair jackets and other dubious merchandise. at the
spam all day long, flag as spam then delete/delete permanently. Yep go with Paul Mann's suggestion too...get on it before it gets too much, it can be tedious if you don't! Andy
That's a spammed. Click SPAM so that the akismet will trigger and that the spambot will be blocked.
I had the same problem, but since I've installed Askimet and Captcha code, no mor problems of this kind.
Hey Donatella,
It's a pretty good chance it is spam. More than likely it is from an automated spambot. Do you have the Askimet plugin installed? The following is a link to a training module on how to do it:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/protect-your-site-from-spam-use-akismet
This should clear up any issues you have with this. There are some instances where even with that plug in, spam comments are getting through. If you find after installing that this is happening, Kyle has a post that can help:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/everything-wordpress/akismet-is-not-blocking-spam
Best Regards,
Jim
I refer to such comments as leaches. Your website is ranking and others want to latch onto your success. Keep up the good work and delete them. Akismet helps, but some still slip in.
That is definitely the nature of the web. you akismet installed? That will help with the spam

I would like ti icoons of Google + and facebook to appear on my blog here in WA how can I do it
Add wordpress sociable plugin (there are many others), activate, then go into settings to enter your link. Hope this helps. &^_~
I think you add your G+ code into you account settings. Not really sure about that, I forget how I added mine.
Okay ---I though the process was the same ---but it is not I guess---When I want to get my blog out here I go to the social website to my account and put my WA affiliate link there in my tweet, Google content and so on. I can like it (Facebook) from here as all can.
I think you should PM Kyle to see if that is even possible to do on our WA blog ---Have you seen others do that ?
Do you just want the picture of the I cons is all ?
I just missed what you needed --Sorry --hope you find this out::-)
Kyle is referring to website pages not WA blogs. Here is a quote from his teaching:
In this phase of the bootcamp we are going to be making our website “socially” ready and we are going to be continue to build our website out in a way that is going to lead to continued growth and success.
You could use images of your own and link them through a text widget or use a plugin like the Acurax Social Icons Options by filling in only the fields for the links you want. The bonus with this free plugin is that if you upgrade you can use the same plugin to link to your social media profiles and as share buttons for your content.

checking with red snippets i have this result for some of the pages
Error: Missing required field "updated"
can anyone explain what I should do
Thanks
Hi, i'm jumping in so I can hear the answers, well not hear, but see them, I am having a hard time understanding any of that :-)
Hi, I checked your site listed on your profile before, it's works but because of the way you have it setup it's not going to work on the homepage because it's a blogroll.
If you test some of the internal pages you'll see that it works.
However it doesn't mean Google will display your author image, they've recently reduced the amount of images they display, but give it sometime and they may appear.
You can see that google already knows who the author is by doing a search like: site:healthymediterraneanfood.com
You will see that your author name is under many of the search results. http://take.ms/YpMdF
Don't worry about it, just make sure your author image appears when you test the url in http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets
The error is related to your theme, Google looks for "updated" but some themes uses something different like "date". Or it doesn't use any kind of published date.
'DB' if you're saying that your image isn't appearing using the rich snippet, then you'll need to start over. Are you using an authorship plugin? It's the easiest way...and should also give you the ability to test it within WP -- which would take you to the Google page that shows if it's working. Using that method, mine works...but Google removed it weeks ago, so it won't appear in the SERP'S
Sorry don't know what that means but here's the site which defines all schema for authorship
http://schema.org/docs/full.html
