Obstacles Make You Grow.
We all encounter obstacles great and small. Reactions differ from person to person even if the obstacles are identical. Some people get blocked and quit, some find a different route, and some just break through and continue on their way. It's by successfully overcoming an obstacle that we get to experience the feeling of accomplishment.
Obstacles are there to overcome, we become stronger in the process of overcoming them. Don't look at obstructions as barriers to be overcome but rather as hurdles to be crossed. A barrier can be seen as a thick wall where a hurdle is only a small impediment. It's all how you visualize it.
When an obstacle appears, change your thinking, there is a reason why that obstacle has been placed there. With such a mindset, you start to see everything as something to be studied, as grist for the mill of your brain.
Living a comfortable, easy, worry free life isn't what's best for brain health. For the health of your brain you should challenge it and push it, if you leave it in a default mode without new tasks and stimulation, you age.
To many people don't stimulate their brains', they don't push themselves to be better. A basic principle of the brains' operation is that it improves when stimulated and declines without stimulation. Hopes and dreams are the greatest stimuli we can give our brains.
As always, thanks for visiting. Dave

Thanks for sharing, sometimes positive results come from areas we least expect.

Thanks for the reply. Just staying mentally tough enough to deal with the pain of expanding my mind and knowledge in what it takes to be a successful blogger, is a big achievement for me.

Good article, Dave.
Obstacles are there for a reason because everything happens for a reason. It is how we face it and overcome it. Is there a lesson to learn too?
I just re-read a quote:
"I have been broken.
I have known hardship and I have lost myself.
But here I stand, still moving forward
and growing stronger each day.
I will never forget the harsh lessons in my life.
They made me STRONGER."
All the best David and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the reply to my post. WA is making me a better person and opening me up to new experiences. Designing a website and starting a blog is harder then I could ever imagine but I need to remind myself that it's not a race and the only competition I have is myself.
