Creative Imagination
Have you ever thought of the possibility that there's more to you, than what your living? If you have than you have felt your creative imagination stirring. Maybe it's trying to tell you something. According to Maxwell Maltz, we are all "goal striving mechanisms". And it's our God given imagination that pushes us to be better and do better than we think we can. Too many ignore this voice within themselves.
It's Healthy And Normal To Want More
It's not selfish or egotistical to want more out of life. On the contrary it's healthy and normal. Too many people choose to live passive, reactive lives. Many don't even realize that they are cheating both themselves and their families. If your depressed and feeling unfulfilled it may be because your not listening to this inner voice.
Our Minds Limit Us
Because of our experiences, and our very "important" opinions of them, we have formed beliefs that continue to shape our lives. Our minds naturally limit our perceptions, only to things that are in-line with our beliefs. We shut down or ignore our natural creative imaginations, In doing so we deny that which gives life meaning.
A Life Without Goals
When we stop striving to attain goals, we are blocking this essential life force, feelings of inadequacy and doubt start to creep in, and we age. When we have no goals, we are prone to go around in circles. Life becomes repetitive and purposeless, we become reactionary and egocentric. We become over concerned how we appear to others, of what others will think. This concern blocks us from healthy normal social interactions, isolates us, and we age.
Do The Uncomfortable
To combat this a person has to get out of their head, and take action. They need to discover the power within and the courage to do things that are uncomfortable. This is especially true of the Boomer Generation.
Re-Enter The Workforce
As society continues to evolve away from the traditional Linear Life Plan of yesterday and into the Cycular Life Plan of today and tomorrow, People normally thought retired are going to want to re-enter the work force, for any number of reasons, either they need to or they want to. Either way it;s a goal, and striving for a goal keeps you from aging.
Age Discrimination
Even though age discrimination has been against the law for decades it still poses a substantial hurdle to a Boomer re-entering the job market. And no matter what the need the only jobs available to Boomers over 60, are mind-numbing service jobs wearing an apron and paper hat, or driving for Uber or Lyft.
Trapped By Our Beliefs
Because of the experiences, and beliefs, they have had, their minds don't even consider internet marketing as a possibility, They only consider jobs that are in-line with their beliefs. So many talented personable and persuasive Boomers are wasting their God given talents, because they don't even hear that inner voice, that is telling them they can be better, and do better than they think they can. When you don't hear and follow that inner voice, you age.

I have always believed within myself that creativity lies not in routines or traditional casual jobs.
These routines makes us more society conscious and less success conscious.
Thus, as rightly said here, we tend to age faster.
Truly, creativity lies within each individual and it is up to them to spur it out.

Thanks for the insight. Imagination and creativity were God given and knows no bounds. When we lose them we lose what makes us special. Nothing like rekindling the imagination in someone. Keeps you young.

I also believe alot of the problems that we have are from external factors. The people around us also shape how we think, and once we make a decision that in our heads sounds good, people look to find ways to tear us down. We will need to also control the external forces as well
