Is Your Site Boring?
Remember, you have to add value and yes it must also be helpful to your reader. it should not only solve a problem of sorts but most importantly be better than the other content out there. Remember you are competing with many over sites in the same niche. Why does your site deserve to be in the top 10 competing with all the others if its all the same?
I see so many people steal, copy or just throw up basic reviews or boring content that 1000's of other sites out there have and then complain they don't make money. If you are going to be lazy and take other peoples content as I see some do, DON'T.
You are just totally wasting your time and will make zero money. Take the time to make it your own and use the techniques I mentioned before.
Remember the key is to be different, be engaging with your readers and do or offer more than your competitors. Google will notice this.

Hello David. Great post and reminder. I try as much as I can not to copy anybody's post. Before writing, I usually read what others have writing concerning the topic, then find a way to say what they have said in a different way. I try to be different in a good way and do hope I am achieving that.
I do hope you are too. Just be careful when you do and do your best to make it better, find something they missed and add it to yours.
You have a website? lol As Jay is reviewing sites and everyone of them is just rehashed information you can find on other review sites and youtube videos that aren't theirs which means if people click on it they go to another marketers site and buy from there. People need to really learn this training here a bit better.
ROLF. Yeah i have a website :). I think :p. I missed this WAinar. Yeah you are right peolple. People are making the mistake of seeking information or videos from other sites so visitors lost sales and most inportant.
What is half of ZERO? Still zero....that is how much you will make if you think emulation is the path to success. Influence is good, trying to emulate a business when you have none of their data is a careless approach to trying to create something that is successful online.
Create a business that you are proud of and one that provides something "awesome" for your visitors, whether this is a good product, a good service, a good review, a good solution, some good help, some good support....you choose.
Awesome post David, you have covered so many points subtly in one swoop!
Couldn't have said it better Kyle. If people could only see how many 100's of other review WA sites there are and how they all sound identical then they would be able to see that this type of review site needs to be more intelligent, unique and outside the box.
I want money and am excited to earn it, but trying to get somewhere by rushing or speeding is going to cost you big time.
Thanks for the awesome vote here Kyle. Don't forget to share, and like this blog too :)
Shared and tweeted...you forgot to share it though! :)
And yeah, copying is not the path to go. Being personally unique creates a realness that will tend to naturally convert FAR better than any forced review page or a copy and paste.
Thats too funny, the first thing I did when I hit save was tweet and GPlus this blog. Perhaps it didn't log it.
Slow motion David:) Just wish I had more time on my hands. Been plugin away at 3 niche sites for about 7 months..Nothing to write home to Mamma about..Thanks for asking.
Eric, just a word of friendly advice. Just work on one site at a time and stick to it till it starts making you money then go onto another site.
Alot of people, including me in the beginning tried to make two or more sites while not putting all our efforts into one. I am only working on one now and it has popped big time.
People can say I am a one site kind of guy but I am laughing all the way to the bank and really it only takes one site to get you to where you want to be.
LOL this is so timely, but not in the way you'd think. I'll explain sometime later, but for now I think this is confirmation from the "Universe" that I am in the right place. However, I am having trouble opting into your crappy website... :D
I have a lot of work to do.
My GoPro site is up for tonight's WABinar. I hope it gets picked. It needs it.
It did. Now, thanks to Jay, I know what to do with the site. Underwater products for the GoPro! Surprised to find those still ranking high, It's those I will promote now.
Thats really good news Daniel! Your site will be a great success. Just follow the right steps.
