Maybe I will learn this somewhere else in the training...but I was wondering why Google Plus is so important. I do not have any friends on it and I have over a thousand on FB... Can I utilize FB the same way or is Google Plus associated with this program?
Google + is not associated with WA, but Google loves you more when you link your sites to google plus as long as you abide by their rules. It's not a must, but it helps if you use only SEO for your marketing. Google rates you higher.
Anything for the community, plus it makes that long string of numerals much more attractive and memorable for your audience.

I have used it for my business Google Plus URL and I have seen growth but I am doing a lot for the growth besides the URL.
