Providing Value - How Do You Do It Best?
In these trying times, value is one of your most important assets. You can help people out in so many ways, from the simple small effort for those directly around you to doing so from a 10,000 foot perspective that helps the masses within your target audience...
Especially right now, there is a need that virtually everyone has, no matter the niche, no matter where the people may be located. If you can use that mindset over the next 3 months especially, you are likely going to have more success than you had imagined.
This effort has to be genuine, people will see right through whatever you publish, offer, or create if this not the case. So my suggestion is to take stock right now, while you have the extra time where you are not distracted by other things like recreation, social activities outside, etc.
I did just that, and it has helped me focus and do the things that will make that happen (provide value for my target audiences). It may be that you already had a plan together for the year (you should have had, it helps!), but the changing reality means you may have to adjust that plan.
This is what happened for me. I decided to look at what people really need right now, what will address their concerns and fears, what their most vulnerable area of their lives are at the moment, what their irrational thoughts might be, etc.
Based on that process, and listening and reading (and commenting) on these things, I have come up with a revised roll-out of products and services for our business that will better fit this changing situation that so many find themselves in.
They NEED what I have, and I intend on providing more than they had hoped for and do it at a cost that they will not question. High enough to not cheapen the product, yet not so high that I am gouging them.
What Is It?
What that product and service is will be out there in the public very soon, beta testing is underway and I have some major players in the industry advising me as we work out the small kinks in the system (this will be an ongoing process)...
Can You Do The Same?
Yes, anyone can do this. Every member here can do the exact thing that I am doing and have done. It just takes the will and the dedication to make that happen. I just read a post on how important mindset is in the success process for entrepreneurs, and it is true.
So maybe you are asking: "What Do I Need To Do?"
No matter how much success you may have had to now, if you start with the right mindset, you have won half the battle. That alone will not do it, I know many kind-hearted people that have nothing but good intentions, but they do not plan nor take action on the plan(s). They just talk.
If you want to be someone that provides tons of value right now when it is so badly needed by your audience(s) you have to do more than talk or write about a problem or a need. You have to come up with solutions.
What Should You Create/Provide for Your Audience(s)?
That you must decide. This requires some research and evaluation once you have gathered the data that will tell you who your audience is, what they are currently going through (problems, needs, etc.) and from there you can decide how you can best provide value to them.
What can you provide?
Is it coaching, mentoring in a group setting (both online settings, BTW), or perhaps a guide, a course, or some products that you know they can use where you will earn a commission from when they purchase from your link?
You decide based on the data you gather...
These are just a couple of examples. Think outside the box, and come up with things that you see are needed right now. It does not have to be complicated nor does it have to solve every problem out there.
Bottom Line On Product/Service Creation...
Solve one glaring problem and people will beat feet to your offer/page/service/product. Right now is the time to nail down a significant audience that needs what you have to offer. Once we all come out of the other side of this pandemic, you will then be in the drivers seat.
You can leverage the goodwill, the tribe that you build, the tools or services you now have into an even larger business that can affect more people in a positive manner. You literally can change lives for the better.
You can be the difference...
I have not talked much about specifics in this short diatribe as there are just too many people with too many niches here to try and focus on more than generalities. But the points I bring up will work for everyone here, especially now.
Do not forget - Make A Difference...
Make a difference by providing value for your audience today so they will come back again tomorrow, the next day and for as long as you are in business. Do not lose the opportunity that this unfortunate situation the world finds itself in to provide value and through this grow your business (and really help people)...
