Loom, A Useful Free Tool!
Hi, Everyone...
In offering help to one another, it can often be difficult to describe the problem that you are having. To help show clearly what is happening and is the problem, I am suggesting that you tap into a free Chrome App called Loom.
Using that app, you can record what is happening or not happening and then help will be easier to provide...It has many other uses as well. If you have a team, or are working together on a project you can record messages back and forth and send via email, etc.
Since it comes at no cost, it really is a tool that you will be able to leverage for your onine business. There is a paid plan, but the free version is fine for most uses. I have been using it extensively for the work the company is doing...
Just today, a member here was asking me for some help, and to be able to get him a proper answer, I really needed to see what was happening. The Loom tool means that he can show me exactly as it is happening on his website backend...
How To Get The Loom App
To get it, go to the Chrome app store and search for "Loom" then add and get started (easy to use as well, it is a very uncomplicated tool to figure out)...
There are some simple instructions, but it really is nothing more than recording your screen and adding audio and video of yourself if you want...
Using Loom...
With the free version, there are limits on the number of videos you can store online, but it is quite a high number (and you can delete ones you do not need)...
You can create folders and move the videos you create to them for easy locating them later if you need to refer someone to that recording...
Once your recording is finished, you will have a link to share, send via email, or add anywhere that you want. The link will take the person right to that video...

We are using it, and so far it has proven to be a tool that we count on to get information back and forth between team members quickly, or to provide a quick tutorial to all for a particular problem or process that affects all team members...
