I Love This Place - Reflections

Hi Everyone...

Just reflecting before I retire for the evening, 19 hours of work behind me...

The longer I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate, the more I realize that this is a place that offers so much, from support to tools, features, and training that we all may not appreciate as much as we should...That includes the community, which is first rate...

Why Am I Bringing This Up?

I listen in to the "shiny object" IM gang at times...

Who are they? They are the IM folk that introduce cockamamie tools or training or "tricks" that are designed to provide some emotional relief to unwary people in what is a hard field to navigate - MMO (making money online)...

They sell promises and hope, and often their partial solutions are ones that work for a very limited period of time, if at all... No matter, they are off to the next launch designed to do the same...

Much like the grifters we see "leading" (?) some countries these days, they are a menace to us all...

For them the launch cycle they live with (create one piece of crap tool after another, gotta create the next big hype to stay in the game, and get the others doing the same to promote) is a means to...what? Nothing...

They take cold hard cash from you though, as often as they can...

At the end of the day, their path is littered with people crushed from shattered dreams and no money left in their accounts, because they bought into the stories that were just that...stories...

That is not who I am nor what I want to be...

NOTE: I also have to caveat these thoughts with the fact that there are some good products out there, they are just hard to find...

Calm In The Middle Of A Sea Of Mediocraty...

I have seen the light and it is bright. There is hope for all people that want to REALLY achieve something with their online efforts, and of course, that light is right here. To bring this light to as many people as I can, I have devised a mechanism that has the potential to help thousands of people...

What all members here have at their fingertips is the opportunity to build a REAL online business that is sustainable and can grow over time as you apply yourself and build websites in niches that you have an interest in pursuing...

No hocus-pocus, this is the real deal. I know that I am preaching to the choir as I write this, but it bears repeating, as a reminder of just what a gold mine that is here for all that take advantage of it...

Now, as I said, I am in the midst of implementing the mechanism I have devised, and by golly, it is working! As we scale this effort up, I can see where we can become major players in a massive and growing market while helping many people build and live their dreams...

The mechanism itself I decline to expand on, but know that it works, and is based on all the things I have learned over the last 43+ years in the working force in various roles and locations...

I have learned about people, about hard times, about wanting opportunity, about having a chance...about working for it...I have been at the top of the mountain of achievement, and in the valley of failure...But...

At the end of the day...

We are all more alike than we think...

No matter where you are from, no matter who you are, no matter what your background may be, no matter your experiences, or your position...

We want a chance to excel...

Only because there is this place of calm where real training that works and where future superstars will begin can this mechanism work as I envision. Certainly a platform like this could be designed in-house, but I do not have 14 years to get that done!

So tonight I hit the bed with a sense of calm...

This place is the answer!

What Is In It For Me?

My last mission (maybe) is to bring as many people to this platform as possible and offer them the same opportunity as we all have to build our dreams out...I am in the execution mode now, and I am exhilarated that this seems to be playing out as I envisioned it would...

When it all comes down to it, we will be remembered for the things we did and did not do, and I for one want to have some positive thoughts to countermand any negative ones that may be out there floating around... : )

There is a joy in seeing others be more than they ever thought they could be...Give them the opportunity, the resources, and I have seen people blossom before my eyes. I have seen this time and time again over the years...

It tells me that this approach works and is one worth continuing...

Here, people can realize their dreams, if they apply themselves and do it over time, and following the guidance found herein...I love that...Selling dreams is only good if you provide the means to actually accomplish those dreams...

That is why, my friends...

I love this place...

Anyway...

What Do YOU Think?

Am I way off base here, do I need to carry my butt to bed, or have I hit on something that we all can agree on, or something else? Let me know below...

Oh Yes...

For those who may want to know:

"A Grifter, is somebody who can influence anybody, anywhere, at anytime, into doing whatever they choose to have them do, that will result in the grifter's personal gain. Usually monetary, but really anything that benefits him or her somehow.

It's absolutely NOT all of these technical things that puts this person in a specific box or particular "genre" of criminal. This person can literally become anyone or anything they want to. Not nessecarily sociopathic, but I'm sure it helps to be dead inside. Learning other people and how they react to any given situation is a must, because that is the core of what a grifter is: a student of human behavior. And once they have that mastered, the world is their playground.

Con artist, scam artist, Only a real grifter will leave a person thinking that they achieved exactly what they wanted to get out of whatever endeavor was initiated by the grifter. I read other definitions and people said things like "they don't have a home of their own and they move around from place to place"... I'm sure this CAN be true, in some circumstances.

But again, You cannot pigeonhole a real grifter. They can be whoever they want to be, and that includes a person who has a normal life, in their own home. Someone has been watching way too many movies, and the stylized depiction of a "professional" con artist, is way way too romantic for what happens in the real world. Grifter's are operators that are on the highest level of running the con game on people."
