Email Marketing Templates - Styles 4 - 6

Hi, Everyone...

Today I am adding in three more styles of email templates I have prepared for your use. Rather then stretch it out, I am combining these somewhat so you can quickly copy and paste all of these posts to a document offline that you can then refer to when you start writing your emails.

For some members, these may not be useful at the moment. If you are starting out, you will start to need these when you are getting about 100 unique visits a day to your website.

At that point in time, you have enough interest in the content that you are creating and publishing where it makes sense to start collecting subscribers. The purpose is to build a relationship with these people and eventually start promoting your affiliate or own products...

Email Templates Styles 4 - 6

Here are the three styles we will go over today. Some contain a series of 4 emails, some just 2, and the rant style has two different samples for you...

Part 4. Promote A Product

(1) Pre-Launch Announcement

SUBJECT:

Launching Tomorrow: Your Chance for [List Benefit Here]

BODY:

Hey [NAME],

[Highlight The Problem The Product Solves]

[Warm up your audience here. Greet the recipient with a few sentences and address the problem they may be facing. Get personal and tell them how you or your clients suffered and how you/they overcame the problem]

Good news! The solution to all of this will be available tomorrow at [DATE/TIME].

Grab it and you’ll:

- Add product benefit

- Add product benefit

- Add product benefit

- Add product benefit

Just to let you know, I’ll be in touch with you via an email the moment it’s available, so keep an eagle eye on your inbox.

You’re going to LOVE this and wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

(2) Product Launch Day

SUBJECT:

As Promised – [Insert product benefit or product name]

BODY:

Hey [NAME],

As promised, I am letting you know [product] is now live and available for purchase.

Yesterday I mentioned, if you [insert problem or desired outcome], you must pay close attention to this!

The only catch is [insert scarcity items like limited time offer, limited numbers, etc.]. [sign up/register/pick up/order] this now and you’ll discover:

- Add point of benefits

- Add point of benefits

- Add point of benefits

- Add point of benefits

Remember, this is the most complete system [or some other descriptor applicable to the product] that includes:

- List the features that the customer will be interested in. Also try to state a benefit.

Example: “Step-by-step checklist, so you can take action right away.”

(4) Product Launch Last Call

It’s not too late to... [identify the product and the problem it solves].

- Bullet point the benefits

- Of the product again

- You’ve likely listed them before

- In previous emails

However, it’s a good idea to remind them of all they have to gain

Part 5. New Content

(1) New Content Announcement

SUBJECT:

Just posted: [x ways to XXXX, smart strategies for xxx, etc]

BODY:

I hope you’re having a fantastic day. Here’s something that can make it even better.

I just posted [a video / a new podcast / an interview/ to the blog / on Facebook, etc.] and included

[x ways to XXXX, smart strategies for xxx, etc].

If you’ve been struggling to [insert problem your content solves], go here to check it out [LINK].

Bring a paper and pen to take some notes…and then put it into action.

(2) New Content Follow Up

SUBJECT:

Did you see [point #3 / what X said in the interview / etc.]

BODY:

Hey there [NAME],

I dropped a mail the other day telling you about [a video / a new podcast / an interview/ to the blog / on Facebook, etc.] I just posted to help you [insert content benefit].

[INSERT A TEASER – for example, “Point #3 was my favorite. I do this all the time and I can’t believe how much faster I get things done.” Or if it was an interview, insert a thought-provoking quote. This should be something that makes them want to look.].

Go here now [LINK] and it might just make all the difference for [insert benefit your content provides].

Part 6. The Rant Email

(1) 'Take One' Rant

SUBJECT:

Ohhhh, this makes my blood boil…

BODY:

Hey [NAME],

I hate to start out with such negativity, but it really frustrates me when [insert thing that is frustrating you that will probably upset your audience too].

[Add more details, share a story and give the background]

The problem is, people don’t realize [give a list of reasons why the thing that makes you mad is the wrong approach].

That’s why [I’ve created XXX product/content that cuts through the B.S. / I’m glad there are people like XXX product/content creator who cuts through the B.S.].

(2) 'Take Two' Rant

SUBJECT:

I’m tired of the lies

The other day I told you about [insert thing that is frustrating you that will probably upset your audience too].

Some other posts I have made also expand on email marketing, I suggest you have a look through them to see what you may be able to use in your own email marketing campaigns.

Bottom Line

Emails and marketing campaigns are not something that everyone is comfortable with starting out. Although initially you will not need this, over time you definitely will as you grow your business.

Email marketing is still the number one way of selling online and you neglect it at your own peril. It is quite nice that as your email lists grow in size, you have a way to reach targeted buyers immediately through emails.

They are used still because they work. It is getting harder to get open rates that are decent, because everyone is doing it. There is too much noise. Writing good emails that effectively convert will help you grow your business much faster.

Now you have a set of starter email templates you can use to get started (Remember there is one more post coming with parts 7 & 8). Take these and add them to your swipe file. A swipe file is a collection of all the good copy you run across that may help you as you create your own copy.

Note that your swipe file can include headlines (I have a post here with some good ones - link above!), sales pages, emails, opt-in pages, thank you pages, etc. The more you collect the better. This way you always have a place to look for ideas...

During the night it goes down to 10C but during daytime a lovely and sunny 20C. These weeks I try to work some hours each morning in the garden. Shaping up, new earth, cutting geraniums etc. The patio is ready but still a lot to do.

Yes, the open rates have gone down a lot, hence the need to write compelling headlines and emails that people will read once the headline captures their attention.

I am also adding a post later on some tips to enhance the way to format emails and add in features that will result in more action by readers...

If we want to look at a perfect example of what you are talking about, I only have to look at two of my inboxes...In one there are over a million emails, most unopened! The other has over 100k, with likely 80% unopened!

Still, the ones I DO open, I normally have an interest in or the headline grabs me, and often I will have a look at what the content is...So, it is not hopeless, rather we have to be more creative...

Makes a lot of sense, Gary...If the traffic is not there (and targeted traffic) even if you get a few subscribers, you will find you are neglecting that first step of adding content perhaps...
