Building trust vs sounding professional

Last Update: May 11, 2016

I have a review on my page and I have the option of adding one of the two following phrases at the end, in the call to action part:

1. I don't mind who you buy it from. Click here to see a page with different merchants to buy it from and if you follow these links, I get a small commission or you can find a merchant yourself. I just want to help people avoid getting fillings as having your natural teeth is so much better, there is just no comparsion!!!!!!.

2.Click here to see a page with different merchants to buy it from.

I have these two options. I currently use the second option which sounds a little more professional in my opinion but Kyle says in his training that we need to first build trust, which will lead to sales.

Which one should I use?

I prefer the short and sweet version. However, be careful because some affiliate programs do require you to have a brief affiliate disclaimer either in the footer, sidebar or on the page right before the affiliate links show up.

So since you are linking to another page, you might want to have a short disclaimer there (e.g. If you purchase anything through one of these links, I will receive a small commission at no cost to you. This is how I can continue to provide you with valuable information).

HI Dave thias is a real tough one because people are different but I think if a person is interest he will follow through with you -
showing other sites and adds do nothing because the person has probally already seen them

What do you think I should write then. I need to have some call to action. I don't know what slant I should take?

Hi Dave I actually prefer your second option. You could always add a bit to it say something along the lines of I have selected a few well trusted merchants where you can compare prices and buy? Not sure about mentioning the commission but then it's all a learning game for me too and maybe we should be mentioning things like that.
