I'm writing this post for a couple of reasons really, but it is also for the benefit of those who like me, are approaching their renewal date with this platofrm, mine is at the end of this month

It is also for those who are slighlty newer to the platform and wondering if you have made the right decision and choice... I say this because every year, I always look at the market plae to see if there are any other better offerings out there, in terms of hosting.

Equally at the same time, I always seem to come across blogs which make me look at things in a new light and re assess my own direction.

So let me come to the point of this blog, bear with me, if you are a newer reader of my blogs, because I like to explain the reasons why, the end decision was / is taken.

This year on this platform, I suffered, as close to trolling and abuse as s possible to get. The matter was reported to Kyle and Carson. wjhos resolution of the matter was far from satsifactory, it still isn't resolved by them, but I have resolved the matter for myself.

As a result of that I didnt use the platform for a looking time, only r engaging around the time of the update. But I am glad I did re engage

Because, Kyle blooged about the upgrade that was coming, which included how Wealthy Affiliate Started and its beginnings. I have looked for that blog to post it here, but can't remember the title of it, so if you are a community member who knows the blog I am on about, please feel free to post it here, because it will help others who may be in the same boat as I was and others who are.

The essence of the blog was that Wealthy Affiliate Started exactly as Google did, by being a keyword search tool, but a specific type of keyword search tool and grew into the platform it is today.

Now when I read that and a couple of other blogs of people who are way more successfull on this platform than I have been over the last couple of years, it made me think about my own aspirations going forward.

My main reason for working online, was so I could copy the Google and Facebook Business model, but with my own business

Having looked around at other options, I was considering of joining, to replace WA, well with the overall benefits, there are none(noth with the overall benefits including the commission structure

I want to become an acclaimed writer in my passion field( I am nuts aboiut Football)

The Google Business model is one that ultra successful and having been paid by Google Adsense and with money already in the pot towards another commission payout, that can happen sooner rather than later.

I have an advertising source, which pays me too and It gives me referrals as well.

But the main thing is this, our blogs are our best marketingweapon / tool and when they are built in line with the traning here, then at some point the referrals will come and so will the commisions..

I am uncertain if I will upgrade to Premium Plus, IF I do, it wll come from earnings, but absolutely every tool to help you succeed online is on this platorm and when you focus on that, when you do, you will reap the rewards.

As an aside I was also 'awarded' the dedication badeg when I logged in, as I now start my 3rd year here
