Social Media - The Art Of Relevance
This post covers Social Media and The Art Of Relevance.
Here ar Wealthy Affiliate, through the bootcamp training we are shown how to set up Social Media accounts.
Then the vast majority of people, judging by the posts that are written, get confused and don't know which platform/s they should be focusing on. As a result, most end up dabbling a little here and there, getting no real results
Social Media Is Confusing
This is something that a number of people state, they find it confusing or they don't understand certain platforms
In a Nutshell Social Media is exactly what it says, Media that is Social
There is no difference between going to a networking event offline than interacting online
Its about finding like minded people then sharing experiences
If Fakebook was a pub, I guarantee you I would not be in it, I happen to like certain types of pubs and enjoy a meal out with my wife, except in the current circumstances.
So rather than setting up accounts with every single platform, choose the ones that are relevant to you and possibly your Niche
So for Example for Traffic Generation,
there are only two Platforms
YouTube & Pinterest
Both of these platforms have better stats than using Fakebook
For networking and sharing there is one major one... Linkedin
Linkedin speaks the language of business, Fakebook does not
Looking at my own stats, these platforms certainly produces a lot for me, without question
Linkedin has certainly earned me money
When that happens it brings a big smile to your face
So if you are wondering which platform to work on and use for promoting your blog, then the ones described in this post are certainly relevant to your marketing and all are easy to use.
Forget about expensive courses, because all they are is rehashed and in some cases pretty poor curated content, taken from the Free Courses available on each platform.
The bottom line of each of these platforms is that you can get followers and / or network with like minded relevant niched people, exactly as you would offline
Social Media also happens to be the Medium.Your blog is your primary business, well it is if it has an autoreponder which houses your list of names on it, other wise it is pretty much a redundant peice of real estate online
So don't be confused, take time out, think about where your target market is and go from there.

Thank you, Dave!
I got off FB several years ago, as I was being bombarded with too many angry, negative opinions!
Twitter? Same thing.
Some folks have way too much time on their hands!
So, FB is not something I choose to re-enter.
YouTube and Pinterest are the only social media sites I use.
Focus on getting one going consistently, then try another.
Thanks, again, Dave!
Best!
