Referrral 8!.
This post is really for the benefit of those newer members of this platform and those who have been here a bit longer, but not yet got any referrals and are wondering
Does WA really work ...
Well it does!... As long as you promote the venture and do it consistently, daily then yes you will get referrals
How do I know?
Because today, just now I signed up my 8th Referral
Now at the time of this post. they haven't upgraded as yet, but that doesn't matter, because as we know, somethings take time
How do I promote Wealthy Affilliate?
Well I follow the online entrepreneurs course and have built my blog out, as per the training so that it reflects what I do, If you want to see what that blog looks like, then it is the first one shown on my profile here
I also use Manual Traffic Exchanges and Safelists, more so than social media
I use a custom main page sign up form in the exchanges as well as the
468 x 60 Banners we have access to and my sign ups come from there
And while that might be strange to some folks, the reason I do so is this...
Every day i build my own list and statistically, traffic exchanges and safelists, are proven to build your list faster than social media profiles.
Yes sometimes it can be laborious and tedius, but it is another day at the office using that method.
I also work on Quora answering questions ther and where possible, if the answer to a question is on my blog, then that link is shared
Pormotion is daily, you are sowing the seeds and repaing the rewards

Does quora allow you to share links to any website as long as it is relevant and answers the question? Or is it more for you to answer it there and then in person? Just trying to see how you use Quora ethically and legitimately to drive traffic? Also do you make use of a free or paid autoresponder? Many thanks
I have found that if the answer to a question is on my blog, then I share the link with some relevant intro text and I answer when I get notified of it, which if its overnight, then I answer the next day, as everything goes through my gmail.
In terms of autoresponder, I currently use Mailchimp, integrated with Divi Builder, so its free for the first 2,000
If its for MMO niche, then TrafficWave is specifically for that.
I'd like to know more about Manual Traffic Exchanges and Safelists. Are these covered in the OEC? Thanks for posting.
No, they are not covered here. Getting organic traffic is what Google rewards and there could be some negative effects of a traffic exchange because it is not from a target audience.
Traffic to your website is only good when it comes from your target audience. Those are the visitors that will most likely convert instead of being dead end curiosity seekers.
To slightly correct that reply, Traffic Exchanges and Safelists, are FULL of home business owners and let you directly target your specific audience
While Organic Traffic is Good, and I use it as well, I also want my target audience and these methods are getting them to see it.

Are you saying that if I was promoting WA I could go to this traffic website, search for people looking to start their own business, and post my links only to that group of people?
If not, then that traffic is of no use because it will not convert beyond curiosity seekers.
What I am saying is this. Those exchanges are full of people wanting to start a business Or looking for help to market online

Thanks Dave, I have to admit I do not know what a Safelist or Manual Traffic Exchange is. Nor am I completely clear about when and where you put your banners. ?
However I am delighted that however you have done it the fact you have 8 referrals indicates, what ever it is it’s working.. 👍
