Referral 7!
This post might help those who are slightly newer to the community and wondering if referrals happen
They do!!
This afternoon, while doing the marketing /advertising part of my business, I got notified that I had just signed up another referral .... Whoooo Hoooo!
This is Referral Number 7, and follows on from the one I had last month
I shall make sure they are well looked after
So, how did this referral happen?
I promote a lot, using traffic exchanges and safelists
Now in the main. most people would argue that traffic exchanges and safelists are totally worthless... and of all the TEs and safelists out there, I would agree that a huge number are just that!
Which is why, I don't use those, I only use ones which have been tested and proven to work and produce results and these are not reliant on SEO keywords either
I have been doing this for a long time, simply because it works!! ;)
The reason I do this is because those advertising methods provide me with a stack of benefits, which social media does not give me
1 of these benefits is that I can promote the WA 468 X 60 banners in Traffic Exchanges
I surf, get credits and referral traffic and commissions and the banners get an excellent click through rate which leads to referrals
It remains to be seen if my latest referral goes premium, but it is a sign up and goes to show that

I've never used Traffic Exchanges before but it looks like it's yet another way of getting referrals and sales that I can add to my list.

Concept. A traffic exchange website receives website submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system.
That explanation, in fairness having read it myself, doesn't do justice to the exchanges which are good : )
Traffic Exchanges, have been around since 1990 and generate traffic to your website, while safelists or Viral Mailers as they are also known, are great for getting targeted buyers on to your list
