Pinterest January Statistics

Now, as you might gather this post, which I'll try and keep short ( by my standards anyway!!) is about my January Pinterest Stats

However, as is my way, its not really about me, but more to show those who are newer to the platform, how well Pinterest can work.

Let me say, that initially, I was not at all Impressed by Pinterest when I first started using it

I couldn't see the point of it and as for 'Pinning' what was that about!!

Thanks to reading other training posts on Wealthy Affiliate about Pinterest

I decided to look further and more closely at the platform

As a result, I got into a routine a few months ago of doing a Social Media Strategy

My results when I was doing this, were very good, impressive I'd say

But then, in my review of which direction I wanted to go in

I let everything slide somewhat...

However, since deciding on my direction into a very specilaised niche

and Adjusting my Social Media Profiles to reflect this, when it came to Pinterest

I was amazed.As you will see by the picture below

My Impressions have gone up by 938%

My Total Audience has increased by 1,159%

I have had two Pins saved... both about WordPress as well

Now remember this is from dooing nothing in my 'indecision' period

So now I have firmed up the direction I am going in, the figures above should increase and that should lead to more customers

Thanks to Wealthy Affiliates Pinterest training posts and such like ,I gained a better understanding of what Pinterest was all about... I had an idea

The training confirmed it

It is a platform where people can post their blog links, through Pinning

But a note of caution. Don't pin from Wealthy Affiliate to Pinterst... Pinterest doesn't like it

But if you are looking for blogs to follow, then you can do much worse than follow some blogs on there

If you are posting unique and interesting content, then you will get follows back

People will even read your blogs and that is only a good thing for you and your blog for sure

Do it daily, who knows where it leads to

Heck Pinterest is even doing Video Pins now

So if you are newer to this platform and looking for traffic to your blog

Pinterest is well worth looking at
