4 Per Cent Bounce Rate

Now This post is for those people who have heard bad things about Traffic Exchanges, or at least the manual surf ones at any rate.

For those, like me who use them, or at least the one I do, then this will be of little or no surprise

It can be agreed that in the main, with well over 19,billion traffic exchanges on the internet, there is a fair percentage of them, which are totally worthless and really not worth the time spent in using them.

However...

Did you know, that they have been around long before the evolution of Social Media?

Thats right, as older more experienced members of this community who use them, will testify to, they were around long before the likes of Linkedin, Facebook and YouTube... Google Even : )

Did you also know, that they are absolutely excellent for the promotion of blogs

How so?

Because, they give your blog, valuable eyeballs which mean that people can actually view your blog , for anything from 10seconds up to 30 Seconds depending on the exchnage you happen to use

This in turn, helps with your bounce rate

The bounce rate is visitors who view your blog, then bounce off again, if the content isn't quite to their liking

The Higher the Bounce rate, the worse it is

Conversly, the Lower the Bounce rate, the better it is in Googles eyes

I have been using Traffic Exchanges, well one in particular for a good long time now, years in fact and on checking my bounce rate, every day, along with my traffic stats, as I do, I have been delighted to see that my rate fell to a very healthy 1%, the week before last

Today, as the result of being away for a few days, it has gone up to 4%

Naturally I am very happy with this, because Traffic Exchnages are NON Seo, but help with Google rankings and prior to using the exchange I do, my bounce rate was up in the 80s, fluctuating between 50 & 60, not a disaster, but still high.

I use a combination of social media & Traffic exchnages for this reason, but am quite pleased with where my blog stands currently

I don't do any more than 30minutes surfing in the morning and I do the same amount in the afternoon, which is plenty, other wise they can be quite addictive

The other benefits are that it helps build my list and I get optins to my offers

So, instaed of getting worked up and trying to build up organic traffic constantly, why not give consideration to this method of promotion, you never quite know what will come from it
