No Service
The lights went out yesterday. The servers stopped serving and for many of us the interWAb was plunged into a black hole from which no information could escape. With no idea of what had happened nor for how long I was to be parked up (again) I turned my attention to an extra coffee or two and the opportunity to catch up on reading a novel.
During my second coffee I couldn’t help thinking that there were so many other things that I really needed to make progress with and that reading my book, however interesting, was a luxury that could wait until later in the day. But perhaps just one more page or two wouldn’t hurt, and another coffee!
Just then my mobile pinged, A good friend “up North” had sent a message on Facebook.
Talk about divine intervention, this is what Graham had sent …
Everything you do is based on the choices you make.
It is not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument or your age that is to blame.
You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make.
That was a quote by the late great Dr Wayne Dyer, a fantastic motivational speaker and counsellor. In his career he wrote nearly fifty books on motivation, psychology and feeling good about yourself.
And then I recalled another of his sayings that I had written in an old diary …
If you change the way you look at things
The things you look at will change
Goodness me! Did that change my attitude. Without further ado I headed back into the office and over the next five hours completed all the YouTube tasks I had planned for Monday of next week, completed my end of month accounts and started writing the next post for my website.
It just goes to show that it takes very little to change the day from mediocre to successful. Graham might not send me a motivational message every time, but I do now have Wayne Dyer’s words saved on my phone to remind me to make progress however I can, today, whilst I have the opportunity.
I will leave you with another quote of his …
Go for it now.
The future is promised to no-one
Have a great weekend

Enjoy your Saturday my friend.

We are indeed responsible for every decision we make- although on some occasions depending on where you are and under what emotional, psychological and other stresses one is under the decisions may be forced or made for you.
As long as you are able to do this business, indeed, make that right decision- go for it, full throttle- To Success!!!
