Greetings and tara a bit my WA friends.
The Bux has decided that he needs to make lots of time for a new YouTube project and unfortunately that means a lot less blogging on this platform.
I need to find the hours from somewhere to do this new channel, my “YT2” project, and as my current channel is doing so well there is no way I can cut back the hours there. I know some of you will want to know what YT2 is called and what it is about but please be patient and all will be revealed over the next 6 weeks or so.
I have given myself 6 to 8 weeks to launch this thing, as well as keep everything else in balance.
For those that are just setting out on this on-line journey, I have shown my progress graph at the top of this blog. I started exactly 2 years ago to the day and you can see for yourselves that my earnings were zero, nothing, zilch, for 10 months. Then a little money dribbled in – am I really doing this for $3 a day. But I pushed on and all of a sudden, things take off and the daily income just kept growing to what is now a comfortable income.
So don’t despair if nothing happens, keep doing the same thing, day in day out and it will work. Imagine if I had given up after six months because “this doesn’t work”.
Fight for everything you want.
Anyway, now you know. So if I don’t appear on the blogs with my usual drivel and wittering then please forgive me, I’m busy creating. I will still cast an eye over all of your blogs and may even comment occasionally, but please don’t take offence at my much reduced activity in the community.
I love you all and I’ll miss being a part of this great community, especially the WA animals, the Blog Dogs, Kitty and Tyra the fur baby; not forgetting Humphrey of course.
So it’s à bientôt not au revoir

Actually, Bux, in Italian it is Ciao whether coming or going. I know you prefer France to Italy, though.
I may also be visiting this area WA less as my other business is growing and requiring more time so I can't get to the training and website construction as much as I need to.
Time management classes I had years ago would tell me at this point that I have too much on my plate, as I still enjoy a full 7 to 8 hours sleep a night. I am sure we will both drop in here now and again, however.

I've got some good stories about Italy, Archie. Especially as Nice is only a few miles from the Italian border. Boy o boy did we have some fun. A couple of hours drive on a Sunday and we were on the Italian Riviera.
Yes, time management - it's a tough one. Something has to be shelved, even if only temporarily.

I fully understand, it sounds like a sensible move. We all have times and seasons in life, sometimes we just have to stop and focus on one thing.
That's a good idea to have a progress chart, maybe that's something that I need to do! It's also good and encouraging for members who are starting out!
I also like your very wise words to new members, I believe that there are far too many members that quit far too early. I think the hardest part of building an online business is that it takes a long time before we see anything happen. However, once we start making money more sales follow, which makes all the hard work in the beginning, worthwhile!

Thanks Roy, I really appreciate your encouraging words. I will always help and encourage newbies. The thought of 12 months work without reward can be daunting. They need to know, as you say, that all the hard work in the beginning will be worthwhile.

12 months of work without any reward is extremely daunting, however, sharing our experiences can encourage new members.
I think you are definitely doing the right thing, Bux! It's great fun to read and comment on blog posts at Wealthy Affiliate, but then sometimes we just need to take a step back and focus on our business, totally!
I'm in a position at the moment where I have a little bit more time, however, this will soon change and I will be working hard again!

Good for you, tackling a big You-Tube project. I'm about to start a new YouTube channel my own self, and will be interested to see your progress. It's lots of work starting anything new, but it seems like we all should start getting good at that starting new things if we are in here long enough. Best of luck!
Exactly right Fran. One of my favourite books is "Who Moved My Cheese". I have two copies of it right next to me right now.
I did a blog on the book last year.
We must always be looking at new things, so important.
