This big tin of Whoop Ass is getting opened!
I've been working on a couple of projects recently - which is probably not a good idea because I haven't really given either my full attention.
Anyway, my main project is a new website that I've been building which is going to be the base for the project I've been creating which will hopefully include a membership site as well as a training course. This has involved me trying to get to grips with several new pieces of software and to be honest I have found it a real struggle.
I think one of the biggest problems I have faced is trying to get it looking the way I want it to look and spending hours on the details of the very first part of it. This has left me feeling like I am making little or no progress.
I was reminded yesterday that striving for perfection is one of the biggest thieves of our time and one of the biggest causes of procrastination.
Perfection is totally unnecessary! When it's good enough - it's Good Enough!
So today I am pouring this big can of whoop ass over my perfectionism and getting the site built. Let's get the pages built, training videos recorded and the content added. The polish can be added later!
Side Hustle Getting Launched Today!
The other project I have been working on recently is writing my first book. I started writing it a while ago but drifted away from it while I started working on other projects. However, I decided that I wanted to get something finished so I also opened up a big tin of whoop ass and poured it over my procrastination on this project and finished writing it last weekend.
I've now got the cover graphic designed so (barring unforeseen issues) later today my first book - Powerful Natural Pain Relief is going to get launched in the Amazon Kindle Store
Now I don't expect this to provide me with my retirement fund but it will be nice to be able to say I am a published author!
That's it for now. Time to get the tin opener out.

EDIT: My book is now uploaded to the Amazon Kindle Store and will be on sale within the next 72 hours!

Actually Dave you reminded me that I published a book years ago called, 'Young Adults Creating Wealth, ' perhaps it's time to talk to Amazon about it as an ebook.

Hi Lily. Yes if you've already written the book then turning it into a kindle book and selling it via Amazon kindle store seems to be reasonably straightforward. They even do some marketing and promotion for you early on.
Great idea, Lily--I've had several published on kindle in the past. It costs nothing, so nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Congrats, Author. That's on my bucket list. As for now, said Whoop Ass is going to be poured all over my Content Editor. I have 13 articles currently sitting unfinished because squirrels were running amok and I need to send them up a tree. I did revise my to-do list for tomorrow and plan to finish two of them. Always so much to do and not enough time. :-)
