Your existing verification should work on all versions of your website. Just try it.

OK, finally got all of them. The videos don't mention to remove old codes, etc. but finally worked it out. Here were the steps:

1) See photo below called Non-verifying URL. After verifying the first url (http://) at google webmaster tools with no problem, I entered a second version of the url (https://) into google tools. Google tools is asking me to verify the second version.
2) See photo below called All-In-One SEO Verifying Field. Google tools gave me a 2nd code (since this is my second form of the url) by clicking Alternative Method, Html tag. Copy the code. Go to SiteRubix, Site Manager, sign in to your website, Dashboard, All-In-One SEO, General settings, Scroll down to Webmaster Verification, Webmaster Tools, paste in code as shown in photo (***note you will paste OVER the code that is still there from website verification #1), scroll down press blue button update. Note - ***this code was different from the first code placed there so make sure you paste over the old code.
3) See photo below called Verified by Google. Go back to the Google Webmaster Tools window and press "Verify" button. Your second website url should verify.
4) Repeat steps for each variation of website url
5) See photo below called All 3 versions of URL Verified. All 3 of my url variations are verified!.

Took me 3 days but finally done! Don't get frustrated - when get to a roadblock keep trying.

Here's a tutorial: to help you out.

Can't this be done with our wordpress siterubix dashboard? I can copy and paste it but don't know where

Yes it can Darleen,

Here are two tutorials to choose from: depending on the SEO plugin you're using.

Thanks I think this SEO video might help. Going to watch it right now. I didn't know what to search for.

Hi DarleenP,
Kyle recommend the drop down menu between 5 and 7.
For me it works best between 3- 5.
From my experience, when I use 7- 10 sub-menus, I get very little click through rate.
When I reduce it to 3-5 my CTR increase dramatically.
Just experiences the options and see what works.
Hope this help.

OK, the only thing I can think of is to put a Top Menu Tag "Reviews A-K" and another tab "Reviews L-Z" to cut them in half.

I was told long ago to keep it within the screen.

That's what I was thinking too but what do you do with the extra reviews then once it gets to that point?

Not everything must be in the main menu.

But if you want it there, perhaps add several submenu items in alphabetical groups A - K, L - T, U - Z, and then each of them has its own subitems.

Another option, use some plugin like Mega Menu.

Thank you. I am thinking of using the Alphabet to split the menu. I never heard of Mega Menu and will look into it.

Is there a way to recover a post in WordPress after pressing the "Trash" button by mistake? Unfortunately I went to press the Edit button and in my own haste pressed the Trash

Good advice at this source Darleen! http://smallbusiness.chron.com/recover-blog-post-trash-wordpress-49123.html

Thank you! Perfect. Will take a look at it right away.

Thanks for helping - That tip resolved my problem and my post is now restored. That's why I love Wealthy Affiliate - it's nice to have a group of people that are willing to help so quickly.

My pleasure Darlene!

Awesome! Yeah, it goes into your Trash can if you delete your post by accident and you can restore with no issues (if you do so without too much delay, as the trash can is cleared out daily).

Thank you. Always appreciate your comments Kyle!

Hi Darleen,

Yes, you should.

If you look at what the leaders in any given field of online marketing do, they not only post their photo along with their name, they create video content too. Their website URLs are often versions of their names too.

If you want refer more people, you need to let them "know, like and trust" you first.

I am sure most of those industry leaders who post their photos etc have also implemented identity theft protection measures as well. One does not necessarily preclude the other.

All the best,

David Hurley

Thanks for your reply. That is a good idea to check online and see what the industry leaders are doing. Kyle and Carson use their photo online and they are industry leaders. I will check online for other industry leaders as well.

Darleen,

Some names that spring to mind are Evan Carmichael, Lewis Howes, Gary Vaynerchuck.

I recently started following Vanessa van Edwards http://www.scienceofpeople.com/about-vanessa-van-edwards/

You can see from her blog, that she not only leads with her book (with her name on it, of course!), and one of her videos Her name and photos are on her blog. Of course, she has an About Me page with more of the same.

Those people are great examples of what we should be doing.

In part, I think this could be a "comfort zone" issue because it was for me too a few years ago. I was actually really afraid of what my non-online-business "friends" would think, or whether they would laugh at the site of me trying to build a business openly online.

But now, I don't worry about that at all.

I really hope this is useful and helpful.

All the best,

DH

Yes, your answer is useful and encouraging. Thanks.

Always go with your gut feeling Darleen. It'll never let you down. Once you share an image online ANYWHERE it's no longer private.

That being said ... if you want to reach out to others, have them trust you ... yeah ... an image of yourself is recommended.

Thanks for your reply.

I would love some feedback on this as well. As you can tell I subjected my adorable puppy to possibly having her identity stolen, lol. Seriously though I have same concerns.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I noticed that a lot of affiliates are using their dog for a photo, so they must have the same concern.

Everything I have read or listened to has said that we buy from people we trust. Also people buy from us because who we are not only because of the product. With a logo it is much harder for people to connect to you to build that trust relationship.

That has been my experience and everyone thing I read says the same thing.

If you do not want to put a photo on here go to Fiverr and have someone do a drawing of you. People cannot use a drawing to steal your ID. Then use the drawing in place of your photo and people will feel like they know you more then if you use a logo.

That's a good idea - I never thought of that. Thanks.

I don't know what the experts would say but curious as to why a real photo is of concern......I may not understand and I may be about ready to be educated (don't you love WA?). Your photo is on the internet now if you posted it on WA - do you have a FB account with your photo, or a LinkdIn account? If someone wants to use my identity I'm pretty sure there is enough information out there to "piece me together." I'm not sure it would be worth their effort when there are so many easy targets.

I do like the logo idea though. But even when I'm browsing for anything a logo just generates an element of coldness and has an aura of caution. Maybe it's just me.

Maybe I have seen too may Catfish TV shows - but seriously though it is possible for ID theft. I like the idea above - to use a drawing of yourself as that wouldn't be an identity theft risk.

I like the drawing idea too. A lot!!!
