How I Went from 50 to 900 Clicks Per Day in 2 Months (And Increased My Income)

Last Update: June 20, 2019

Are you new to Wealthy Affiliate?

Then you may well be wondering when the traffic 'floodgates' are going to open to your website.

Well...

On the 16th of Feb 2019, my 8-month old domain was getting a rather disappointing 50'ish organic clicks from Google per day.

And then...

On the 23rd April 2019, I got 906 organic clicks from Google in a single day.

With traffic now settling in the 500 - 700 clicks per day range.

Not bad for a 10-month old website in the 'highly competitive' 'make money online' niche IMO.

Here's how I did it:

1: Go Premium

Seriously.

Are you on the starter membership?

Do you like what you've seen so far?

Then go Premium.

I did in 2015 and never looked back.

The training here works.

And it's the correct way to build a sustainable online business.

2: Follow the Training to the Letter

Don't deviate from the training at WA.

Because that's what I did...

And it set me back months and months.

The alternative is high ticket upsell programmes or 'done-for-you' systems that place too many restrictions on your business.

I have personally made money online as a direct consequence of following the training here at WA in multiple niches.

3: Write Daily (If Possible)

This is what really made the difference for me.

I started writing a 800-2,000+ post every day in January and I've only missed a couple of days since then (due to life getting in the way).

But the 'results' didn't kick in until months down the line.

4: Focus On Product Reviews

Here's why product reviews are awesome:

1: They tend to rank faster than 'how to...' style posts (on new sites anyway).

2: You're capturing 'buyer intent' - which is great for conversions.

5: Get in Early

This was also critical.

I used forums and Facebook groups to find out about brand new products that were getting a lot of exposure and also had very little competition in the SERPS.

I found this to be far more effective than 'chasing shadows' with established products that may take a much longer time to rank for.***

***WARNING***

This traffic strategy can result in 'spikes'.

But sometimes?

You hit a 'home run' .

However... it's still important to focus on 'evergreen' keywords and content as per the training.

Conclusion: Go Premium and Give Yourself a Year

I'm a very impatient person.

I usually expect instant results from everything.

But SEO and affiliate marketing doesn't work like that.

That's why I suggest that you:

1: Upgrade to Premium.

This will ensure that you have everything you need to make your online business a success.

2: Work REALLY hard for at least a year.

You're not going to be full time in 3, 6, or even 9 months.

But after a year of learning and implementing - you'll see that what WA teaches works.

Then it's just a matter of scalling up.

So...

Get stuck in and start taking action NOW!

Cheers,

Dan

UPDATE:

I've now broken the 1,000 organic clicks in a day mark.

It took just short of 12 months.

This is so encouraging Dan. I am happy with my site's progress but I don't post very often, I know that is my greatest weakness right now and if I added content more often I would be so much further ahead.

Thanks for this motivation to add content and see the results!

Congratulations on your success. You are doing so well!

spot on Dan. You are so correct on this one. I have also found that reviews are much easier to rank for. Especially if you follow Dan's advice on new products that have either just been released or new launches.

Have a question for you Dan...
.... is it imperative to have Goolge Crawl every post/page you create once you've published them?
I'm wondering if this is a factor that will enhance traffic to websites sooner...

I always submit the post to Search Console immediately after publishing. I've had #1 spot rankings in less than 5 minutes in some cases for low competition reviews.
