Hello folks, I just wanted to ask you about your opinion on an AI robot that can write blog posts for us.
I found about Jasper https://www.jasper.ai/ It's been pretty po
My 2 cents for what it's worth.
I watched this video on YouTube with a guy doing a blog post with Jasper. It took him 90 minutes to research his content and add his touches and pics using an SEO tool attached to it along with Grammarly. His final post was excellent; I was amazed at how well he made it with his personal touches, and the SEO tool worked seamlessly.

If anybody DOUBTS whether the big names use AI writers, check out Neil Patel’s OWN AI writer.
https://app.neilpatel.com/en/labs/ai_writer
I’m not recommending it but if Neil Patel uses one, then obviously they rank and have ZERO problems with Google.
Here are a couple of YouTube articles he has also done about them:
https://youtu.be/hwVb9kJHmfY
https://youtu.be/smyN7eFh6-Q
Not Neil but does AI writing rank on Google: https://youtu.be/gJ5u68VffJU
I have nothing more to say on this subject. If it’s good for Neil Patel, it’s good enough for me. Period. Unless someone here thinks they actually know better than Mr. Patel with all of their guesses and half information.
I’m done. I HAVE done my homework, unlike many here, obviously.
Darlene
You do know that big sites get special privileges from Google, right?. You can't just believe that he has Zero problems with Google. Their algorithms are not universal to all sites. If you believe that, I have ocean-front property in Arizona you may be interested in.....
See the third video. It’s NOT from a huge site. Do your homework - especially when I’ve done it for you!
this answer from Neil Patel (from one of the videos that you linked here) is exactly what I answered you below Darlene,(see screenshot) it can be helpful, but it still needs the human touch, so lot's of editing anyways.
You sound a little bit presumptuous, to be honest, with the 'do your homework "thing.
I ALWAYS referred to these as tools and said they can only do about 80% of the work for you. The rest is human touch. Editing is minimal. You are repeating what I said.
I’ve actually TRIED three of these. I’ve done more homework on these than most anybody here. Please point me to ANYBODY who has test driven ANY of these rather than making uninformed assumptions and then putting them here.
Homework!
Where do AI writers get their content from?
AI is closely linked to machine learning which needs datasets to learn from.
If it’s scanning other websites for content to generate it’s content, then it’s essentially a website scraper.
There are lots of methods in the past that ranked well until Google changed the algorithm because their SERPs were littered in garbage that ranked well, but provided little value to the actual people using the search engines.
Where do you get your content from? Don’t you go and do your research on the web by scanning other websites? Does that mean you are scraping or copying content?
So, these are basically just following what you, yourself would do.
You would be surprised if you actually tried one and get completely human sounding content and you can even change the style of the output.
It ranks. It passes Grammerly. It’s enjoyable to read.
Darlene
Hiya,
Speaking from personal use is that tools like Jasper, ArticleForge and Wordplay are excellent tools. To dispel some misconceptions out there:
- The content is of excellent quality and will NOT be caught by Google as it is neither scraped nor spun content.
- There are very few grammatical changes or typos to change.
- They are of very high quality.
- It WILL pass a plagiarism checker with ease.
Keep in mind though that these are just tools. They will save you 80% of your writing time. However, the other 20% is so that you can tweak it to your own style, add pictures, add calls to action and, mainly, to do your own research.
I can tell that many of the respondents here have never used nor tested these newer tools nor have done their due diligence of having used, researched nor compared them. They are still stuck in the past and speaking things that USED to be true but aren’t any more.
If people here think that the competition that is pumping out multiple articles per day AREN’T using AIs, they are horribly mistaken.
Move with the times or get left behind by them.
Darlene
Could be that the competition is hiring writers though, like so many affiliate marketeer gurus do, like Neil Patel, so he can focus on his videos and conferences.
The teachers here do that too, there's no way that they have so much time to maintain all the websites they have otherwise.
Yes, absolutely they do - especially if you are as successful as Neil Patel. But what if you aren’t there yet and can’t afford that? Or, if you want to save money, by using these tools in house?
One of these tools would allow you to do 5 posts per day (including the 80/20 time split) if you were working a standard 8 hour day.
Could you please tell me which of your websites you are using AI with, I would like to check it out? In a pm maybe?
Also, I don't think I could sprout out 5 articles a day even using AI, because for my niches, I would need to change a lot of things into my own style and add my experiences and personal stories with the niche. An AI writer can't do that for me
So basicly I would need to spend time on that aswell, it's not just about copy-paste and add pictures etc. The 80/20 rule wouldn't apply for me I think.
It could be nice for brainstorming, but as I am passionate about my own niche, I am not running out of ideas for a long time, in fact I have about 100 ideas still waiting for me.
So while I could sprout out 5 articles a day, I very much doubt that it would be the same quality as my own writing, just my 2 cents.
It’s completely up to the individual and their niche as to whether to use these tools. They are an excellent option for many but not for all.
Nobody is forcing you or telling you that you must use them.
Darlene
Oh, and I use one or the other sporadically through all of my sites.
Here is an example for you. This entire article (minus subheadings and affiliate links) was completely written by Article Forge.
Now there are most definitely things I would add and change but for a starter point, not bad. It’s also 100% accurate.
https://forced-income.com/article-forge-an-intelligent-tool/
Now, please just use this as an example. This isn’t my favourite AI Writer any more. This is NOT for advertising purposes.
Darlene
We have not used AI for writing content.
We too have heard of Jasper. What we understand at this point is that Jasper may be the best AI tool to use. It looks like it can write content, but facts must be checked and style must be checked and tweaked so it is your writing style and sounds like your original thinking otherwise search engines will not rank it highly. It looks like it could be a starting point, but it looks like it is not a copy and paste and publish process. The writer must become involved.
Just a perspective: so if you know your niche why wouldn't you want to come with your original thoughts (your hypothesis) and present them in your original way?
My thoughts exactly. We are writers first! At least that is what I am. These are an expression of myself; certainly not of Jasper!
Make it your own, as the tool is a "tool" to that end.
Regards, Corinne
Hi Danijel
Google still claim that they can tell when AI has been used to create content and in general that it's poor quality so doesn't rank well.
So using AI at this time takes re-writing to improve content quality (that's the actual content, plus writing skill, plus readability).
I tried it once earlier this year and ended up re-writing so much that using the AI version was a waste of time.
So it's worth testing periodically, but probably not a great use of time yet.
:-)
Richard
Hi Darlene... If you look at it more closely you'll discover that the Ubersuggest AI facility only gives ideas. It's very much in line with the point I made. You still have to compile the ideas and fill out the detail.
:-)
Richard
What Neil was suggesting in one video showed content creation as well. This is not just Ubersuggest. He has other products as well. He directly says writing paragraphs.
Hiya!
Well, on the non-controversial side, here is a YouTube from Neil Patel and he describes seven free tools: https://youtu.be/smyN7eFh6-Q
The AI Writers that there is controversy over (the only ones I would use anyways) are:
Jasper (used to be called Jarvis until they found out the name was copyrighted by Disney). This one is arguably the best. It’s also the most complex and pricy. The complexity is what gives it so much functionality, though. Website: Jasper.ai.
Wordplay. Medium difficulty. Good functionality. Least expensive. Website: wordplay.ai
ArticleForge. Price just a smidge over Wordplay and gets updated regularly to add functionality. Easiest to use. Website: http://af.articleforge.com/.
Most all of these come with a free trial version. Doesn’t work for you/your niche? Walk away!
NEVER use ContentGorilla. Grey/black hat methods that makes you more work than it does for you and lines you up for a lawsuit.
These are just my opinions. I don’t believe I’ve missed any and I’ve bought/trialed all four.
Darlene
Hi Darlene
I found my brief notes from watching the video when it was released, and now re-watched it.
Only one of the 7 tools in NP's video is designed for creating a blogpost. That's copy.ai which I tested at the time. I'll take another look now because these tools are evolving fast.
Have you tried copy.ai?
:-)
Richard
Hiya!
I haven’t heard of that one before! I looked at the demo and it looks amazing and has a free trial.
Thank you for mentioning it! It looks really good. I’m going to trial it.

Just be careful with FB. They don't look kindly on MMO promotions and can ban you for advertising them on their platform. It's very difficult to overturn a Facebook ban. Just thinking about the same thing at the moment so am interested in answers. I’m thinking about starting with Bing or even DuckDuckGo and test the water as such.

Hello folks, I just do the Moz spam test and it seems that 48% of backlinks are spammy according to Moz.
Should I worry about that in terms of organic traffic and should
Keep in mind that each link you include on your site by Google as where you think you live. If you live in some place like Spamville, then Google thinks that's what you are too. If you live in NiceLinkVille, Google will think that about you instead. Where do you want Google to think that you live?

This recent post will help answer your question. Trish is very knowledgeable and generous with her knowledge too: Did Your Website Suffer a Major Drop in Organic Traffic Recently?
I would do something to fix it, my friend, because, after all, Google is in control! I'd PM Trish, if I were you. She knows much more about it than I do!

You can monitor your site for spam backlinks, "1" is common.
An online site like websiteseochecker will let you view your span score.
If you stay away from purchasing backlinks and don't respond to phishing sites your site should be ok. .
