Does someone have the same problem?

Hello folks, I have a problem with Google indexing my new content. The last 4-5 posts are not indexed and I always was getting indexed in 2,3 days.

As you can see on the image below, by Google Search Console some posts are Discovered but not indexed. What can I do to solve this and does something similar happen to you? Is this something I should worry about or not?

You can open image in a new tab too see better lol

Thanks in advance,

Danijel

I'm having the same problem :-(

do you use a template of subheadings Lisa...
or are they very similar across posts...

I don't use a template. But they are program review posts so the headings are similar except for the program name.

that's interesting ....
i have heard google is looking at headings as keywords
so i wonder whether that is starting to become an issue...
i have had all mine indexed almost straight away...
all original headings...
it may be worth trying to change one of them to see if that is the issue...

Tell me if I am wrong but I read that similar headings require canonical meta tags applied.
This will help with indexing issues.

ah...i am talking about subheadings rather than main headings Stephen...
i know google is indexing the subheadings and paragraphs between and will return these instead of just your main heading for a search query....
so you now need to make all of your content count and almost be stand alone for each paragraph...
not my idea of good writing, but what google wants ....
i also know reviews are now being targeted by google and it wants proof that you own the product or see that you are giving the customer choice...
google is trying to get rid of spammy review sites....

It's probably up to Google. It's impossible that I am doing something wrong after 140 published posts and 135 indexed. I think we just need to wait.

That Wiley Google, lol.
Let’s just do reviews on platforms and intangibles.lol.
Thanks for clarifying.

It just seems strange that only some sites are having a problem and some are not. Maybe it's because my site is not so established as the ones not having a problem!

My site is 2+ years old lol

are you using the same subheadings within your post ...
so 'who is it for' 'advantages' 'pros and cons'
and are these used on all posts...
google keeps changing the rules, so what worked last month may not this month...

True my friend. Mine is 1 year old. They do seem to be ranking eventually maybe after a month.

Hmm I would say no, its different depending on the post but I think that is not the reason to not index post lol

I tried a few of these posts and indeed they are not on the Internet. This is worrying of course. Recently Dylan also asked about a similar things, no post after September is indexed. Try to get in touch with him and ask if he found out why this is happening. Writing texts that are not on Google is pointless.

But these are new posts as you say, so perhaps it is early to be concerned. My fastest indexing and ranking used to be literally in seconds, but this is not so any longer, it can take days before posts appear. So give them another week or so.

I know from things I have read in earlier posts that Google has been going a bit slower on occasion, Danijel!

Thanks, Jeff!

Jeffoi, I also post into Keen which is owned by Google. I find it helps getting indexed faster. I normally get a 24 - 48 hour turn around on indexing.

🤔 Thanks, Stevoi, for this important insight!

You're welcome, Danijel!

have you explored the test live url in url inspection...even for urls you have submitted you can use this...
once you click on test live url then google will show another page of results , where it says it is available ( with a 'learn more' help)
any issues here sort them
i then click on view tested page and you get a sidebar
clicking on more info may turn up some more problems google has...don't worry too much about not being able to find images or js problems...
but the main thing to realise is google may not index everything on your site... if it thinks there is a lot of overlap then it will try to work out what is the most important one page to index out of a group....
if it thinks it is not of a high enough standard then again ...no index
google is now starting to get picky about what it is indexing...
so your posts need to be a high standard and very relevant to hte headline topic and on your site all the articles need to be on closely related topics...
my hydro site the posts are still being indexed within half an hour...
i hope you manage to sort it
phil
one thing i learnt recently is not to usr the same format sub headings as everybody else ..google is now looking at the subheadings as keywords and trying to index parts of your post if relevant...
so it is all now getting very important...

Thanks, Phil! I will definitely look at it in the GSC

Have you tried manual indexation? I always request it every time I publish a new post, and it gets indexed in a few hours.

Well, yeah, I always request it in GSC after publishing but still nothing -_-

Hmm that's weird. Just wanted to make sure.
