My 1 month anniversary at WA!
Hello, WA community! I am officially completing 1 month tomorrow as a Premium Member at WA. On my 1 week anniversary I proposed some challenges, and here is my follow up on them:
- Move my domain to a .com address (I have had some technical issues with this, which I intend to have sorted out by the end of Week 2) - Done! My official address is http://gettingtoknowbrazilinpictures.com
- Once I have the .com address, join at least 2 affiliate programs that make sense within my niche - I have, in fact, joined 5 affiliate programs either photography or travel related.
- Have at least 15 posts, with the best quality level content I am able to produce - In between posts and pages, I have posted a total of 12. So I did not reach my target.
- Reach 1000 visitors - I have, of today, 708 visitors. I was somewhat hurt by the delay in migrating my website from SiteRubix domain to the official one, and I had about 400 visitors already. Doesn't matter - didn't make it according to Google Analytics, so I will work harder on this.
- Setup a Google+ and a Facebook account for my site - Done! Also setup Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter.
- Prepare an interesting "Join my mailing list!" system - I have setup Mailmunch, but I have not worked on the mailing list.
- Break the 1500 rank at WA - I am right now at 1080, so mission accomplished!
I will make a new report at the 3 month mark. These are my new objectives:
- Reach a total pages + blogs = 30. Among these, at least 5 very complete product reviews.
- Reach 5000 visitors.
- Reach total earnings of US$50.
- Break the 700 ranking in WA.
- Post every single blog post on Pinterest, Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.
I would like to thank everyone at the community for the support, the good vibes and the common understanding. We are in the same boat, rowing through the same sea and towards the same island, and the more we help each other the quicker and more effectively we get there!

Your website is great man, I shared it with a friend who is also from Brazil on Facebook and he loved it also. Not only do you create beautiful looking websites I have to say you are a great photographer too.

I would say I'm not great in either (creating websites or photographing), but I sure try. Hopefully this will be a chance to improve in both ends!
